Preparing Shipment!

I've been putting off ordering Tiger since its release date was announced because I'd figured that no matter when I do it will get here until the 29th. But hearing how people had been already recieving Tiger, I plopped down my credit card on Friday night, and to my surprise this morning the status was changed to Preparing Shipment was bumped to 2 Day Shipping. So I guess I was one of the lucky ones and might just get it before it official release. I just find it weird that Apple is actually allowing shipments early when they are touting the big Friday, April 29th 6pm release.
 
Anyone else besides me order the $10 Up-To-Date copy of Tiger? Mine still says "On or before 4/29/05". I ordered my copy the second it was announced on 4/12. I hope it arrives by Friday because I want to work out the kinks before Monday if there are any.

People that are checking from a European website should go check at the US wep page. They give better results. On the dutch site it says "open" and on the US site it says "Processing Shipment"

just tried this, processing! yay!

but will this actually apply to my order? i ordered on the uk site, surely they would have better information?

i know it's not quite the same, but i ordered a laptop security cable on sunday afternoon and it arrived this morning.. SOOOO... if we apply that to when I ordered Tiger, it should arrive...

And to think I am buying a 2nd copy at the tiger release for my "non family" computer. I hate being legal, I could have bought the family version, but I don't think it will qualify.

So is it better in the sense that it's more accurate, or in the sense that it's more favorable? ;) :D

Mine just changed to preparing shipment today! Yayness! :D
 
same here.. its preparing shipment for me as well.. hrm my ilife 05 looks like will come today..

I did, I did, but it still says Processing Order... :(

I hope I get it soon...
 
Mine also says preparing shipment. For those who have had their copy shipped, how long did your status say preparing shipment? I know it could be that way for up to 24 hours, but I'm trying to figure out the average length of time it took to ship.
 
UK (Educational Price) - Order Placed 12th April, so far it's still 'Open', the US Order tracking page shows it as 'Processing Order'

I reckon UK Orders are likely to ship tonight or tomorrow night to allow a Thursday/Friday delivery. I'm assuming they're being sent from within the UK and if so, it's likely they'll be sent TNT Next Working Day delivery.

We can only hope...

Its says they are going through European FedEx on the uk online store. They better ship mine soon because I live in the Channel Islands and things take a day or two longer to get here...
