Preparing Shipment!

Don't forget the free streaming thing that is released the 28th or whatever it is. that is if you ordered from the online store. it COULD be about that.

When I check order status, I get a blank white page with this message:

"Did not receive any response from application. It is possible that the application does not exist, or that the requested url is incorrect."

Hmmm...
 
The Apple Order Status section of the Online Store is down. So nobody can check the status of their order.

It appears that everyone who ordered from Apple has not had their copy shipped out. I think very late tonight or early tomorrow you'll see a lot of replies in this thread about people saying it has been shipped.

We all need to be patient here...

This is like Christmas Eve, only better! :D
 
what if like.. something went wrong at apple and all the copies are delayed by two weeks! :eek:

I was hoping to receive it early, possibly, since i ordered it at 7 am PST on the 12th...but i'll still be happy to get it friday.

C'mon Apple Order Status page... :eek:
 
I HATE that they make you type in your e-mail address (OK, mine shows up automagically) and your password and THEN they tell you, several seconds later, that Order Status isn't available. They should do this right there on the main screen.

Grrrrrrr. :mad:

I'd cancel my order and get it from MacMall or some place like that...

Apple would lose money from my order being canceled, simple as that!

Even if you order from MacMall, Apple still gets your money. Who do you think MacMall buys it from :p ;)

Well technically, Apple still loses. Apple sells Tiger to MacMall a helluva lot cheaper than they would me. So Apple doesn't get the full profit like they would if I stayed with them.
 
Site is back up and mine hasn't shipped yet. I guess there is no hope for getting it early. :(
 
Probably with so many people getting them early they decided to hold onto the rest and just next day air them on thurs

I am thinking your right considering mine has not shipped yet and it is Wednesday. I would think however, that would cost Apple A LOT of money to air ship everyone's copy of Tiger just to prove a point.

I think that by the end of today we will see alot of order status' changing for many people.. I think that the majority of OS X copies will be shipped tommorrow in the states...i am not so sure about Europe though.
Mine still says "processing order" :( :( :(

UPDATE: It has changed to "Preparing Shipment"

Apparently, you can't cancel your order after it has attained "Preparing Shipment" status.

I checked a little bit ago, and it said Preparing shipment as of 9:42 am. I then look at the time and realize that its 9:42... Funny little thing.
