I can't wait to hear and see your feedback with what it looks like. I really want one too and the Studio doesn't interest me, coming from a 30-inch Cinema. Those several inches do make a difference.

So update – received the Display today - and yes, same issue like the other ones... just returned it after having it for 1 hour. So like you I now ordered a Studio Display and will wait for the successor of the Pro Display XDR that hopefully comes in 2025.

Sounds like you’re going through exactly what I did last year. I went through 4 Pro Display XDR’s and have ended up with a Studio Display too. I’m UK based. I wonder if there is a different production location for European orders compared to US.

I ordered directly from Apple - all ProbDisplays were dispatched from Shanghai via DHL Express - i don‘t think that there are different production locations.
