Then you don't care. The 6+ is clearly the device for you. That doesn't make the reviewers who are giving their honest opinions morons.
Could not agree more. Reviews are OPINIONS!

You must have forgotten phones of yesteryear lol. They were beasts.
Why can I not hold it and do something else while on a call? I did that when I was a kid using my mom's cell phone that was about the size of what the military uses out in the boonies for communication. Hold that sucker between your shoulder and ear and profit.
Your opinion is it is a small tablet. Great. y opinion is that iPhones basically always have been. I don't see a 5.5" phone doing the job of making phone calls even remotely less effectively than it's predecessors. And I come from having used the Note to do exactly that.
Perhaps "morons" was too strong. How about "misguided"

Or maybe you are just a moron writing a review on here of other peoples reviews? Hmmm...
Inconcievable!you know... The physical size of an everyday phone actually does play into reviews.
I think it's a valid point though because this is the first time iPhones have been this big. I'm sure we'll see a ton of people return the 6+ because they just didn't expect how difficult a phone that big would be to use on a daily basis. So the reviewers are pointing that out as a potential con. The 6+ is even bigger than the 5.7" Note 4.
Your immaturity just spews out doesnt it? Will you need to bring an extra pair of underwear when you touch that iPhone 6 for the first time?

What does it even matter, unless you're using these reviews to justify your purchase to yourself?
You know how big the Plus is. If you like that, get it. Who cares whether a reviewer personally likes or dislikes it?
Huh? You are the one slinging names at people you don't know first (in the title of this very thread)?
Some of the stuff posted in this thread makes me wonder how the human race will survive.
I'm happy that it works for you.
The Galaxy phones are 5" ... but most reviewers also agree that the Note phones are too large as well. The 5.5" market is much smaller than the 4.7"-5" market.
Obviously, people make sacrifices and use the devices as phones. Does that mean that it appeals to the masses? No. Does that mean that the form factor is right for a phone? No.
Again, you want a phablet. Great. Enjoy your phablet. Many (arguably, most) other people want a phone.
Not that it matters, but I spend roughly 4 hours/day TALKING on my phone and the other 8 or so processing emails, calendar and goofing off. For me, it has to function as a phone... and that's the point. I get to have all of these devices in one portable easy to use device. When I want to read in bed or play Clash of Clans, I break out the iPad Mini. Again, for me. You have a different use case, and that's great. Apparently the reviewers have a use case that is more similar to mine than yours.
Don't feel slighted because they didn't appreciate the size of the device that you chose. Sheesh.

Accept when youre a phablet which is a different class of device. Size really shouldnt make the score lower when youre working with better battery life and a better camera.

No, that's what the people here are lacking. It's a SmartPHONE. If it doesn't perform the critical function of being a phone well, then it has failed. Yes, it does lots of other things. But first and foremost, it must be a phone. There are other devices that already take care of those other things if that's what you're looking for... and they do it much better.
The Phablet idea is not good at either. It's not as good as an iPad Mini at being an iPad and it's not as good as a smaller phone at being a phone. I think that is the point that many of the reviewers are getting at.
Every reviewer is scoring the 6+ negatively for size reasons. Do they ding the 15" MBP because it fits in fewer backpacks vs. the 13"?
They should review the phone not the form and let consumers pick what works for them given budget, usage, etc.
This is the first time Apple has given users a choice and I think the reviewers aren't quite sure how to handle it.
that's what the reviewers are lacking when doing these reviews.....
it's 2014, if you want just a phone...go by a flip phone. These are so much more than just a phone. So to sit back and say it's too big for a PHONE only....yes it is. But they don't state that if you use your device less and less like a phone and more like a little portable computer in your pocket...then it'd be great.

It is absolutely fair of them to point out if they were uncomfortable using the device over time; part of what a review is supposed to be is sharing personal experiences using a device to give other people an idea of what to expect.
Why are you taking it so personally? What do you care how the reviewers scored the phones? That's what I don't understand.
why does someone have to tell me what i need in a device? I RARELY make phone calls...same with all my friends. We text/email/facebook etc. Browsing the net, texting, watching videos, listening to music are main things i do on my device. Calls are rarely made. So i'm gonna base my phone on size bc of the 5% of time I actually use it to make calls?A flip phone? No people want a phone to make calls on, text, take quick pics, browse internet, listen to music. No one wants a flip phone.
I believe the reviewers are basically saying the 6+ is too big to use in the above capacity since it's to big. In other words..there has to be some limits on how big a phone is that you hold to your head correct? I mean would you hold a 40 inch screen to your head and use it as a phone? I realize that's and exaggeration, but scale it down and that's what they're saying.
Now if you say, "I don't want to make phone calls on my phone" then I suggest a tablet of whatever size floats your boat
