Problem with the iPhone 7 is you can't flaunt it.

why was the Rose Gold 6s the best selling ever because you could flaunt it. It's a social filter hey look at me new cool iPhone showing off even at the Apple Store. I'll stop there.

From all looks at the iPhone 7 coming unless you look up close no one can tell. Even if it's all black it looks just like anyother All black phone out there.

It's gonna be thinner really is that necessary ?

Unless people with an iPhone 6 or 6s like losing a feature they have no reason to update their devices.

So despite several enhancements the iPhone 7 Achilles heel is that you can't flaunt it.

In case you are wondering the Lightning port audio is confirmed by recent leaks and Apple liquidating all it's Wired BEATS headphones last month $300 down to $149 $200 down to $80 even $50 in some stores. And heck you can already buy Lightning port headphones at from other vendors.

Losing headphone jack and replacing it with earbuds or adapter? Hardly an issue at all.

    If it's

    Duel camera
    Added 3D Touch features
    Better battery life

And who else what they add to can't say people shouldn't upgrade till we know what's included

Black colour would be just as noticeable as the new rose gold. For the average customer rose gold wasn't that noticeable only for tech people really knew the difference

They will have a new colour whether it's black or blue and that will distinguish it from the 6/6S.

I will upgrade if its waterproof and has the dual camera. It's going to be faster that's a given. To be fair the the plus model could do with getting a bit thinner. I had the 6 plus and then the 6S plus and I definitely notice that the 6S is heavier.

I respect everyone replies, but my gut feeling just screams this is the year to skip.

I really look forward to the iPhone Pro with OLED display and an actual redesign.

Can't say that my iPad Pro 9.7 crushes any tablet on the market. And ironically my Samsung Note 5 crushes any smartphone on the market. It gets service and reception the 6s just can not. And the 5.7 OLED 1440p display well. Let's just say Apple will get their version next year made by Samsung who they contracted with to make OLED displays.

Personally, I have never bought an iPhone to flaunt it, I bought it to use it
That may not be true of others, but some of us are more concerned about how it works than what others think of us and our purchases

I don't give a rip about flaunting an iPhone or anything else. That's not the type of person I am. I buy an iPhone because I like it and use it as a tool to get things done that I need/want.

The iPhone (and all smartphones for that matter) appeal to a wide range of demographics

They are the choice of some business folks who predominately use them for email, text and calls
Another group is the crowd who use them to game, watch YouTube and SnapChat with friends
Others are media streamers, watching movies, and streaming music
Some buy the iPhone because their friends do and they are worried about what others think
    You get the idea

The problem comes when someone from one group thinks their group is the only group
And that their use case is the only one, best one, right for everyone

Same goes for size of phones
And for storage options on phones
    Etc etc etc ad naseum

It still has an apple logo on the back for those who want to flaunt it.

I will buy the 7+ at launch to replace my 6+.
As for flaunting it I'm the exact opposite. It's something for me to use.
Couldn't give a hoot if people notice or not that I have the latest phone.

I sure wouldn't want to ever flaunt a pink phone.

To be honest, maybe wireless headphones will be noticeable enough. That said, I am sure rose gold, dark blue, or whatever it is. Usually people have it in their pocket anyway. Plus, maybe I am just silly, but I buy my phone for me, not to brag about to others :) (just to Android users who already hate me anyway)

I wouldn't want to flaunt it.

Too much risk of someone wanting to part me from it. :(

If your phone is pink you _must_ flaunt it or everyone thinks you're a wuss.

I had a guy friend try to flaunt his rose gold iPhone once. It wasn't a good look.

I don't know where you live, OP, but where I live, nobody "flaunts" or "shows off" their phones. iPhones are so commonplace everywhere you go anyway that the only time I ever see anyone go "Oooooh, can I see that?", is when someone pulls out an S7 Edge or something.

who flaunts an iPhone and who cares? People amaze me.

Agreed. I got the SE coming from the 5s and the fact they look identical doesn't bother me at all. Allows me to use the same cases so it's a good deal

You guys ever think the kind of phone you have will impress the ladies? You know wearing it on your holster on belt. Flaunting it a little bit might be just enough to land a girlfriend or even better a wife? Think about it

been using iPhone since the 3G days but i am honestly thinking about getting the upcoming Galaxy Note 7. I have a galaxy from work and Android isnt as bad as people make it out to be on here at all.

reason for me to switch is simply due to the fact that i am not gonna buy the "same" design again and iOS 10 looks ugly (my opinion so zip it). also its time to try something different.

and of course NO FREAKING BEZEL

If a lady is impressed by your iPhone, I'd argue she's not really wife material!
