Siri worked for like 5 minutes for me, and then every other time it said it can't connect to network ..Anyone else???

As soon as I lost 3G service and out of range of WIFI it said "could not connect to network". So what that means it's all but unusable since there is no 3G between State College Pa. and Harrisburg Pa. 80 miles away and I live in the middle.

same here

I was using it all day today - just put my phone in a case and now SIRI is dead?

Siri error message

I just activated my 4s, and tried to use Siri. I keep getting the error message "Sorry, I am having trouble connecting to the network." I am on wifi and that is working. I made sure siri was turned on in the settings, I restarted my phone, I turned Siri off and on again... still getting the same error message. Is this happening to anyone else? Do you know how to fix it? Thanks!

Having the same issues. I can only hope that it's because of the massive amount of new iPhone4S owners today and the demand on the network.

looks like the servers are getting hit hard. same here ups finally showed up and siri has been a work in progress im not going to write it off for a few days cause im sure once the network stops getting slammed it will work great.

Just activated mine and everything works except Siri.... She can't connect to the network, and I'm on a super fast wifi connection.... Like others, I assume it's because of all the new iPhones testing it out today....

Which is probably one of the reasons why Apple hasn't activated Siri on the iPad 2 as well (traffic load). There are going to be millions of people banging on the servers testing Siri out.

I am having problems getting through too, it was working perfectly then I tried to show my friend how awesome it was and it wouldn't connect. I understand why though, and it will pass.

The two million people all slamming the server at the same time asking it questions are putting a hurting on it for sure - it was working awesome until this evening.

I'm sure in a few days you'll (almost) never have trouble with it again (once the novelty of asking it "Do I make you horny?" and having it respond with a list of all the escourt services nearby wears off :D).

Siri stopped working on my phone as well

Same Siri thing for a Verizon phone activated at 4:00PM....doesn't work at 7:30 PM CST

Glad to hear other people are experiencing same issues (well not really) but I thought it was my device. But why wouldn't voice dictation work on the phone. That shouldn't really have to connect to the network should it?

----------

Is anyone getting the message "sorry, somethings wrong. Can you try that again?" along with the "not able to connect to network" message. Im guessing it's Siri using different phrases to say the same thing, but just want to see if people are seeing same thing.

Add me to the list. Worked for a bit now I can't do a thing most of the time. My mother's phone has the same issue. It is a bit of a mixed bag half the time it seems work on me halftime doesn't.

Sidenote making MacRumors posts with Siri is super awesome.

I am SO frustrated

Just bought the 4s ...changed from a t and t to Verizon and was thrilled that I could "improve" my service, etc. Now Siri doesn't work...can't connect to network, have to buy ALL updated software for my MacBook Pro to make anything work on the 4S and iCloud. If I update to Lion to get icloud to work, I have to update half of my software....To get this to work is costing me lots more than just a new phone. APPLE...what have you done? I have never been so disappointed. :(

Siri down on Sprint

I switched from AT&T to Sprint for better service... and it's not the network! Siri is down here in Miami Beach on Sprint. Very disappointing and I'm sure much will be written about this glitch. They clearly did not anticipate this traffic on their network.

OK, now I feel better. I guess we'll just let the yahoo's playing around with it to chill out.

I'm getting the same error of somethings gone wrong, blah blah blah. Don't get the data error though.

Having trouble too connecting to network. I have a strong connection with both 3G and WiFi. When I disable the WiFi Siri works but slow. Doesn't work at all with WiFi.

Siri problems

Oh thank God. I thought my iphone 4s was broken since Siri wasn't working, and software resets/reinstals weren't helping.
