The market is huge and it will become huge(r), people just don't know it yet. Cars, bikes, drones, kids, grandma, bags, and about anything that can be stolen or lost would benefit from this.Watch me eat these words soon but I just don’t see Apple introducing these pretty much ever. Reason being is when Apple enters a market segment they dominate it from the start. The “bluetooth tracker market” isn’t a huge market and although they would dominate it I just don’t see the intelligent days to day application for this.
I think AirTags will be one of the few Apple products that I can check off my list of products that I don’t care about. I just want them to release it so I don’t have to hear about them anymore.
I am hoping this will work very well on cars. I can't count how many times I've had a problem finding my parked car.The market is huge and it will become huge(r), people just don't know it yet. I hope there will be a public AirTag for busses and trains, one look at the map and you see them driving all over town. Put them in high value mail packages, with additional consent the information can be used for traffic and travel info. The future opportunities are huge, huge I tell ya.
I’m really curious how apple will position these, when they are entering a space that is super saturated and been available for years. With UWB they will have better positioning. But who really cares? As long as I know the room something is in I can likely find where I left it...There has to be some other “killer” feature they have up their sleeve.
That’s a good point. So how has Tile been dealing with this?A stalker just has to stick one on your car
The killer feature is that it works with other people's iPhones around, example:
You lose something outside with an airtag attached, it's in a place where are iPhones are around, as soon as you realise you lost it and open the accompanying app it will show you where it is, based on other iPhones in the vicinity.
Prosser stated that it is "likely" that AirTags will be unveiled alongside the HomePod mini tomorrow.

I do, just stating my opinion like everyone else. There is this thing you can do with your finger when you don't care.....scroll past.
Not sure Tile will go out of business. I am using Tile and they work great. I can even replace the battery so I dont have to keep buying Tiles. I'll bet money that you can't replace the battery in Air Tags which means when the battery dies, you have to repurchase the product over and over again.
That is apparent.Nope. I don’t eat any animals.
Wow, size of a bottle cap. This is much smaller than I was expecting. If this pans out these will be useful and sell a ton.
Safari for Windows was a one more thing, and I think that takes the cakeThat would be the worst "One More Thing" ever.
This ties into the iOS mesh-like networking feature that Apple recently released. All iOS devices will function as a node. So the device will be located by the last nearest iOS device and that info will be sent to the network anonymously.Tile is not...that I'm aware of.
I don't see this as a very good application. For starters, you'd really need GPS tracking for a car. It's not like a personal item dropped on the sidewalk. You don't have as many random people walking past.
Additionally, we already have some very good solutions for that....I think maybe even included as part of Car Play? All you need is an App that knows the GPS location of your car at the time you park. There are many out there. The only caveat being multi-level parking garages...I can see that being problematic. But the big one's in typical suburban sprawl...this already works decently.

Get ready to get disappointed tomorrow. No iPhones tomorrow
I have a feeling Tiles will be going out of the business soon. See you later.
I'm not sure how you found your source, but you've nailed it. Apple Car tomorrow and potato-powered via a new Apple green initiative. Can't reveal inside and some items exhibited in cartoon form to protect sources. Wheels cost extra for those uninterested in using solely as a tiny house. All of these rumors are fake. Apple Car is coming tomorrow.
