Just got off the phone with Apple Support again. She said it’s going to take longer than 48 hours but they’re not going to send a mass email out about that. And she asked me for my phone’s SEID and I sent it to her via email and she escalated my case up to the engineers. She said to expect a reply by Tuesday. *sigh*

Sorry I can’t see the post numbers on the page

I received the erroneous email even though I used my iCloud ID...I followed the link and re-entered my Apple ID and waited. I never did get the email invitation but when I checked my wallet this morning the option to add the Apple Card was there. It only took about 10 minutes to complete the application and start using the card. I received a #20,000 Limit at 12.99%

How long after the 48 hours did you check your Apple wallet?

Just adding my own experience to the list. I got the email mentioned in this thread sent to my Apple ID on Tuesday. I knew I was correct since I've had my Apple ID on the same email address for over 12 years now.

I tapped the link in the email from my iPhone and signed up again with the same email since it was already correct and nothing 48 hours later. I even replied to that email Tuesday night with a screenshot of my Apple ID page showing the ID was correct - the email never said it wasn't a monitored address. But I didn't get a reply to that either. I've checked the wallet app every few hours today, no extra option.

I clicked the email link a 2nd time tonight, this time from my Mac, and signed up for a 3rd time. I'm not really in any hurry but I know my score always drops in the 2nd half of the month so I'd probably get better terms right now than next week.

Haha mine was exactly 5:26pm too. Just wanted to make sure I’m in the same boat as others and it’s not just me for this time frame! And no it doesn’t affect it I believe because my friend wasn’t updated to iOS 12.4 either. I’m running iOS 13. I will keep you updated as soon as I get any update on my situation! Hope you can do the same.

so since no email came for me(and i'm assuming you're in the same boat) i called apple and they've set up a case for this, which right now should take up to 4 b.days. it may be a useless formality and the email will come through any way, or if we don't do this we may be starting from square one whenever we do call, so i suggest you do the same if you already haven't)

Same here. I have a call back scheduled tomorrow afternoon

Also just called AppleCare and asked to be connected to the Apple Pay team. The rep was very understanding; he took down my device info to escalate my invite issue to the Engineering team. He said he’d personally reach out by Tues next week. I encourage those with invite issues to do the same (took 10 min).

I suspect my issue is related to entering @icloud for my Apple ID, when I’m actually signed in @Mac. Despite entering @Mac over 48 hrs ago with the ‘notify me’ link, I’m not able to apply.

I already did thank you :) if you scroll up you’ll see that I reported that I called them today too and they would get back to me on Tuesday :/

Apple's Apple Card support is completely clueless. It's been about 62 hours since I received the mail and re-entered (for the 2nd time) my mac.com account.

Keynote: signed up notify via my normal e-mail account
Apple card preview release day: signed up notify via mac.com account
After this mail: signed up notify via mac.com account

The support person was trying to tell me this was not a legitimate mail. They said it would have a link to the invite (the css link). I kept going in circles how the Apple's back end had not activated my account for the preview. They just told me to wait for the official roll-out. I finally gave up in exasperation, thanked them for their time, and hung up.

About 64 hours and counting for me now. Updated my iPhone to Pubic Beta 6 this morning. Still not working. Called Tech Support and was escalated, have a case ID, and scheduled a call back on Monday.

You might just have to wait until they open it to everyone. They changed the error message last night so something’s afoot.

I’m in the same boat as you.

I agree that the weblink we were sent has changed to the default Apple Card page. I hope that we are not going to be penalized and lose our spot in line because of this glitch.

It’s not a “penalty” to be allowed to sign up simultaneously with everyone else. It’s not like they owed you “a spot in line.” They never promised you would be allowed to sign up early, and you didn’t pay them for such a right.

It’s just a credit card. I want to sign up too, but I can wait.
