Lol every officer is told to allow 10% +2 which is 33 so they can't do **** all
"If my speedo was saying I was going slower" - how do you know? Are you an expert in "speedos"?
If they can "say you were going slower", I don't doubt that needles can also remark "that you were going faster".
Between the "lol" nonsense, the "you don't get it do you", and the bottomless sense of arrogant entitlement I get from your posts, I join with
@bunnspecial in expressing surprise that you didn't get a ticket.
Really?
You can "just get an engineer" to do what, exactly? Commit perjury?
That verb - "get" - is interesting. Are engineers for sale, then?
No, that is "not that", not least because, in your original post, you admitted that had exceeded the speed limit.
If the OP acted toward the officer the same way he has in this thread, I'm amazed that he DIDN'T get a ticket.
BTW, I love older BMW M-cars(like every other car guy on the planet, I might sell my soul for a nice E39 M5) but unfortunately the OP also seems to be exhibiting the behavior I see in many drivers of M-cars.
Agree completely.
Lovely car, shame about the driver.

You signed up on a Mac forum to ask a driving question?
I asked this question ages ago.
Initially, I, too, thought he had signed up on a Mac forum to ask a driving question.
Now, I see that he has signed up to gloat about his BMW M, while insisting upon his right to break the speed limit, and lecturing us on the shortcomings of "speedos", and sneering at those of us 'who don't get it', because he has rights, and can "get" engineers.
Even the very thread title is a bit of a giveaway, and, instead of expressing gratitude and relief that a police officer acted with proportionate courtesy, the OP exhibits signs in his posts of boundless arrogance and bottomless entitlement.
