Of course iPhone 5 will be basically same as iPhone 4 same as iPad 1 and 2. Few little tweaks here and there and apple nerds go mad. Love apple stuff but too sensible to get hooked on this never ending upgrade thing
No offense, but upgrades is what happens. Can't stay with the current product forever. Does not mean you have to buy every upgrade, but it's normal for all companies to make upgrades at least once a year.
Thing is, Apple tends to make the upgrades enticing enough that it's hard to resist. But the iPhone 5 I'll probably not worry about because the 4 I have is still a killer phone, so I'll probably hold out for 6.
camelsnot said:geez.. you didn't think apple was going to keep innovating did you? After a 1.0 release, that ship sails...
Now it's all about money through small refreshes and rehashes (vPhone and some dumb white iphone4 dropping shortly).
$teve Job$ bashed larger screens on phones, therefore his huge ego won't allow him to let engineers put a larger screen in any iphone from here on out.
Based on how the hardware looks, 3GS was minor. All that changed was a little 'S' put on the back.
I wouldn't mind it staying the same. I like the iPhone 4 design.
Just get here already! My 3gS is on its last leg!![]()

I bet Apple is settling into a two year fom factor pattern. 3G -> 3GS, no change in form factor. 4 -> 5, no form factor change. In the interim, spec bumps.
More like 4 -> 4G this year.
Then spring summer of 2012, 4G -> 5 my friend.
I'd love a 4" screen and LTE, but I'd settle for just 64 GB.
But I don't think I'll get any of those though in iPhone 5.

Yeah they shouldn't not release a better product just because some customers will feel left out while others who can get the upgrade or switch to the new version can/are willing to.
Also, am I the only one that things the inside of this looks more curved than most of the iPhone 4 cases? it's not a curved device ... maybe the 5 will be slightly?
*facepalm*
It's frightening that you run a tech blog.
I guess you never saw an iPhone 3G or 3GS in person as neither have such insignia on the back.Based on how the hardware looks, 3GS was minor. All that changed was a little 'S' put on the back.
