Samsung can poke fun all they want. Apple will continue to grow, expand, and lead the way for quality products that compliment multiple devices and needs.
Quality is not anymore the word I would use to describe Apple products.

Samsung’s conferences are hard to watch,Apples are like a different league in comparison.

Samsung presentations are a waste of time and they need to bring the clapping and whooooww people also, they don’t have a fan base or thedevelopers (that’s google in the other hand) and they are just suits that don’t know how to present products. After Steve Jobs, Apple keynotes became boring, but are still way better than Samsung. Still I switched to Galaxy, couldn’t take anymore BS from Apple.

Are you serious ... Apple belittles the competition all the time, they are experts in the art of disrespect.

Just walk into any Apple store to hear their rants about Samsung, Microsoft Windows and every other company that makes competing products.

I'm surprised to hear this. The store near me does not do this at all. Heck, I never hear anyone talking about any of that, ever - why would they? It seems odd that is even coming up in conversation. Maybe my store is busier, or just different employees or management. Who knows?

Funny you mentioned "Xerox"
Whom Apple had a PAID agreement with to license their tech.

A shot at Samsung using Xerox as an example to back Apple is pretty ironic. Had it not been for Xerox, Apple would have not existed today.
[doublepost=1519697146][/doublepost]Tried OneCast, didn't work well for me. YMMV.

This is garbage, I’ve been going to Apple stores since the first iPhone and I’ve never heard employees talk of competition.

LMFAO! Man that presentation was the most awkward thing I've ever seen in my life...soooooo embarrassing how the crowd never reacted to anything at all lololol.

I'm no Apple die-hard, but that Galaxy S9 presentation was a real stem-winder. When you have to pause until people catch on that they are supposed to applaud, you are not presenting awesomeness.

That's funny, I have never heard any apple store employee rant about anything and I deal with the geniuses quite often for my company.

I agree, there was a lot awkward silence and the guys rolled up suit didn't help either.

Agreed. Went to the Apple store near me today and there were probably 15 workers there just standing around. One decided to target me for conversation, and he seemed more interested in telling me about his personal life than about any Apple products. Certainly didn’t mention the competition and like you I’ve never heard anything disparaging about Android or others. Side note: walk up to the watch display and slip one off the holder and watch them come running. I had no idea they weren’t supposed to be removed, put them behind glass or at least post a sign. Sheesh.

Not true at Apple Store in Stratford / London where I was asking how to deal with a mega (300GB) Photos Library!

The response was move to Google Photos! And as for the Mac Pro debacle, the store guy was hyper critical of the current biscuit tin and the crazy lack of RAID support in High Sierra!!

Unfortunately, Apple has its blind spots...

Didn't think I would ever say this but apart from the curved glass and rounded display edges which I think is awful choice then the front looks 100x better than the iPhoneX. The back is still super ugly but the front is way more elegant.
The notch still bothers me and will always do. I hope my iPhone 6 will last 2 more years before I need a new one as I'm certainly not falling for the X now :)
So yeah, Samsung at least get one thing right. The front of the phone :)))

We in the West have given away our prosperity to China for various reasons, but treasonous politicians and shortsighted businessmen like Cook are at the top of the list. Our descendants--likely starting with this generation of youth--will curse our cowardice.

So they make fun of the notch, then make their own phone large in size with a smaller screen with a full screen notch at the top AND the bottom. Thanks but I will take as much of the screen as I can get and use the corner areas for something, without increasing the phone size. Personally I see the notch as a non-issue, but Samsung has managed to do the exact same thing but hidden it with a larger phone that uses less actual device real estate for actual screen. And sorry but the ARmoji looks like a Muppet when they talk....maybe next time.

Then again...they've "created a screen so sleek in design you can hardly tell where the screen ends"......see? right there! You can baaaarely tell! Incredible how it just blends in...Amazing!

From this video and looking at S9...*chuckles*....iPhone will be fine. That was the most cringy presentation I have ever seen. I thought touch bar was the worst but this is just too bad xD. And who the hell is that car salesman?

Samsung events always make me cringe. Him having to prompt them to make noise when the 9 was announced was just awkward.

Samsung can poke fun at Apple all they want. Until they are willing to commit to support of legacy devices like Apple does. I'll keep buying Apple.

With Samsung you are lucky to get one or two major Android updates. That update will come many months after it is released. Perhaps you'll also get a couple security updates.

Considering the price. They should be working with Google directly. To get major Android updates out the door the same month Google releases them. They should also get a the latest Android OS for a minimum of four years from the phones release date. They should also be getting the monthly Google security patches. Like Pixel and Nexus devices.

If LineageOS can keep pace so well on a huge array of devices with hardly any funding. There is no reason why Samsung can't. On devices they built and understand in complete detail.

While Apple may be not be perfect. I am reasonably assured by past devices. I will get the latest OS updates and security patches for four to five years. I know Google has the Pixel. But it costs as much as an iPhone and they don't commit to updates as long as Apple does.
