[PS3] - Borderlands 2 9/10

Another great game that came out! The first Borderlands 2 was the best, a FPS with RPG mechanics is a brilliant formula, and BL2 remains the same. In BL2 we have more weapons, quest, places to visit besides the DLC that came out (one this game worth buying DLC).

One of the best FPS of this generation!

[PS3] - Borderlands 2 - 10/10

Superb game, graphics are insane, kind of cartoonish which has that pop to the eye, game play is excellent, has a end of the world backround, which was what first drew me to the game. it is rated as the game with the most guns EVER !!! it literally has a million guns.

^ Am I the only one who grew bored of Borderlands 2 about 2/3 rds of the way through then ? I just thought it got a little too repetitive and it didn't keep me hooked...

^^^yes you are rite, it does start off slow, i think thats the only down side. when i first played part 1 it happenend to me too, just keep on playing and it does a complete turnaround

New Super Mario Bros 2: 10/10
Super Mario 3D Land: 10/10
Mario Kart 7: 10/10
New Super Mario Bros U: 9/10

----------

Batman : Arkham City.

10.

I know this is extreme but this is the best licensed game I've ever played

I agree. Going through my third play on the Wii U Edition. It rocks the PS3 version off the planet :)

So...what's your opinion on Mario games? ;) :D

Getting worse - slowly. :D

This thread always shows me how many games I end up buying - and how little I finally finish.

But NSMB U gets a solid 10/10 (also to make up for progx's 9). Finished it with my girlfriend and it was loads of fun. Perfect entertainment. Now I'm on my second way through, now alone, since she can't be bothered with finding all the hidden goodies..

One question though: right when I start my save game, it always asks me which character I'd like to play this time. So when I started with Mario can I nevertheless choose Toad later??

Arkham was def a great game! 10/10 here also, just finished it for the second time last week on Wii U.

I liked it New Super Mario U, but once I played NSMB 2 on 3DS, it wasn't as much fun. The multiplayer component of U was awesome! It didn't have the craziness of its 3DS cousin. Plus, it was a hard game on single player too. I enjoy a challenge, but some of it was downright hard. It was still light years better than NSMB Wii ;)

If NSMB 2 is hard give Super Mario Bros 3 a shot. I'm going back and playing that and I want to throw the controller across the room - that game is bloody difficult - not all the levels but there are some big road blocks - and you don't have the helpful Gold Leaf to get you through the tough spots!

I started Super Mario World when it hit the VC and for me represents the the ultimate Mario platformer., but Super Mario Bros 3 set the mark really high and surpassed it in some aspects. Still a bit sad that the big sock (lol) didn't made it's appereance in NSMB U (well, haven't found it yet prolly). That was superb (and I think will be featured in the upcoming 3D Mario again (?)). Also, playing it multiplayer was crazy. There were time we just crossed each other to play that early versus mode for a looong time. Good memories!

[PS3] - Dishonored - 8/10

Finished it last night, on high chaos. Checked out two different endings: saving her / letting her die. I thought the latter was more interesting.

Overall it was a good game. The gameplay mechanics and mission design got me hooked pretty much instantly.

But the story and the characters really didn't do much for me on an emotional level. I never really cared too much about what would happen to everyone, honestly.

Also, after the "twist", the game kind of lost me. Did not like the flooded district level, and after that it just became kinda same-y. But the missions leading up to that were superb, would have loved more of that!

I'll come back to this in a year or two and work on the Ghost/Clean Hands playthrough. For now, I am happy to move on to something else for awhile.

Bottom line: Outstanding gameplay/presentation/mission design, especially the first 2/3 of the game. But a forgettable story/characters, and to me it lost some steam towards the end. Great new IP though, hoping for a sequel!

Among The Sleep Demo - 8/10

Well this indie is going to get famous! Here is a survival horror with a great quality and I hope that story line is developed with quality.
In this game we are a baby that want her mother back, she was "kidnapped" by a monster (IMO is very similar to Slenderman).
The game features multiple scenarios, and the first is in their house. We have several in-game items, from toys to parts of the house to play / mess. We even got piano that we can play Beethoven :p .
OST of the game is excellent and this is what makes the game more "deep".* While playing this, we come to a part in the game when the clock rings and i got very SCARED!

This game is day one!

Last of Us PS3

Sublime story telling and refined gameplay make this my game of 2013 so far.

Is humanity worth saving? Buy it and decide for yourself. 9.5/10

.5 removed because the infected are too samey character model wise (hopefully this is me thing new gen consoles will do away with) ...

What gold leaf? You probably mean the racoon leaf I think. That and the Super P leaf help. But they are not really needed. If you want a hard game play Super Marion Bros -> The Lost levels. Now that's tough.

And if you think SMB3 is though, please don't play Battletoads for the NES. Great game just bloody hard. Even with save states (yes I do own the cart I just prefer playing on the Mac) there's one level there I can not beat legit.

Last new game I've played?
Quell Memento for iOS. (is on PS vita and other console platforms too)
95% score I give it. it loses that last 5% cause the ending kinda stinks. But the game itself for a casual puzzler is amazing. As is the game aesthetics. I'd highly recommend it.

The Last of Us - PS3

If I could give this game a 11/10 I would because the story and gameplay was excellent. Would you risk it all to save a dying world...This game had me on the edge of my seat. those clickers and hunters are freaky(This is coming from a Silent Hill fan)

Bless

Shank - 8/10

A bloody tale of revenge, Shank is a 2D brawler which has players slicing, shooting, grenading and chainsawing their way through enemies.

There were several points during my time with the game that I couldn't progress simply because Shank simply couldn't respond to my input fast enough to react to on coming threats.

Also this game has an excellent OST, so i totally recommend you play this!

[PC] Hotline Miami - 9/10

One of my best VG experencie in the last times! A very solid gameplay, an excelent OST, good comedy. I never expected it to be excellent. Now is wait for Wrong Number!

Hard, Fun and Ultra Violent is the best way to describe Hotline Miami!
