The official word from Apple. I wonder if this means they don't intend to fix it?

Symptoms
iMovie will sometimes quit while exporting if your project contains several still images.
Products Affected
iMovie for iPhone 4
Resolution
The number of photos that will cause iMovie to quit while exporting depends on several factors, including the complexity of the project and the size of the still images used. Full size images taken from the rear facing iPhone 4 camera will create this issue more commonly than with older iPhone 3GS pictures, or pictures that have been synced from iPhoto via iTunes. Given these factors, iMovie may quit while exporting a project with as few as 12-15 photos. However, depending on the size of the photos and other circumstances, projects with as many as 25 photos may export without this issue.
If iMovie quits while exporting, export your project to a smaller size or remove still images from your project and try exporting again.

So spent two hours tonight editing a movie in iMovie to have my phone reboot and crash everytime I tried to export a movie in iMovie. Seems that you can't have too many images in your movie. WTF apple!?
As you see the resolution offered is to put less images or export in a lower resolution. Great! I have a phone with reception problem and I'm supposed hold the phone differently. The chitty proximity censor makes me hang up calls or put people on mute and there is no response from apple on this. The back glass seem fragile as chit. NOW I can't even use their advertised iMovies with more than 10 pics or it crashes. They vow to let me include less pics as a resolution.
Getting real tired of apples crap with this iPhone 4. Before anyone else says it, yeah, I might be taking this beautiful paper weight back for a refund. This is getting old. Where is the old apple that gave a chit about their customers and quality of their product?
