To those that can't understand my point, it's simple. The communication with customers in regards to fixing problems is horrible. Great they updated the app, glad they did THIS one in a timely fashion. Yet until the update came out, there was no communication that they were working on this. It sucks to be a customer and not know if something will be fixed. Even the Corp rep had no idea of this app update coming. So I guess they have an internal communication problem as well.

It's iMovie, on a phone, not anything remotely mission critical in any way. If it were, then I'd probably agree with you. I certainly don't expect them to notify me about every fix they're working on, even if I have submitted a bug report.

Okay, so you jumped to conclusions because you 'believed' that they were not going to offer a fix for it - which obviously lead to your world falling apart, and the creation of this thread

and your also whinging about them taking 14 days to do it... how long does it take a regular app to get a bug fix update? its around the same time... stop whining
Yes. Right after my world fell apart and right before offing myself to the song creep by radiohead, I posted this thread. I am actually posting this as a ghost right now. Boo!

Yes, I whined about them taking 14 days, because before I posted this thread I jumped in to my iTimemachine and knew they would release the update promptly today, 14 days later. I then came back to post this thread to complain about it taking 14 days.

P.S. I brought back the iPhone 5, but promptly sold it to applelamer.com. You have not heard of apple lamer.com? Geesh your so 2010 bro! It's the new gizmodo of 2011.

That's great that they updated the app. I called a senior level rep at corp and put in trouble ticket for their engineers.

Maybe I've just been around a long time, but it's pretty typical of Apple to document bugs, offer workaround where it can until a update or upgrade is made available. Support should know of the issue from the bulletin, but that's all they'll probably know until the situation changes, which mean the update is posted.

If you want someone to hold our hand and tell you it will be OK... well that's what we're for. ;)

I don't expect them to notify me about every fix, but it would be nice to know something. I posted a list of issues I have no idea if or when they will be fixed. Meanwhile I have a phone that my ear hangs up on people and an iPad with lousy wifi. Probably the reason why the iPad can't have ios 4 yet is due to persistent wifi in ios 4 and the ipads wifi problem. Maybe when my iPad is 6 months old I won't have to check my wifi indicator before I post on this forum. I thought I was paying extra money for a product that just works. It seems for products to just work, apple needs to do a better job with quality testing.

Yeah, I just thought their work around sucked. They said take pics out, I figured out in a few minutes to just turn those pics into a video via a separate project and them import them into your main project. I did tell the apple rep about my work around. :D

I wouldn't mind a hand holding. Apple has been hugging me from the back for a while, and that roll of quarters in their pockets hurts. Lol!

Anyone test it out yet?I have not had anything interesting in my life to make a video about.
