Also just rolled back to iOS 6 only my iPad, its sooo much faster. The iPad has really been ignored during the iOS 7 development

If I wanted an android I would have bought an android. The new functions are fine but the garish colors and flat look totally destroy the understated sophisticated look that I appreciate the iPhone for.
This looks as if it were designed only for the new 5c. Not the 5s

The whole interface looks as if a bag of skittles puked. It certainly reverses the visual and physical sophistication that apple was known for.

I do hope that ape comes out with a better skin soon!

I instantly felt so much better about owning an iPhone. You can feel better right now too. Apple is still signing 6.1.4. Here are simple steps you can take right now to enjoy your device the way it was meant to be.

1. Download appropriate 6.1.4 IPSW file for your device. Direct links from Apple's servers.

2. Open iTunes, connect your phone, and put your phone into DFU mode.

3. Once iTunes recognizes your device in Restore mode CTRL+Click Restore on windows or OPTION+Click Restore on mac.

4. Wait 5 minutes for your upgrade back to 6.1.4

5. Enjoy your new upgraded Apple iPhone and know that Steve Jobs is smiling from heaven.

is there a dummy proof tutorial? where do you put the DL'd ios file?

EDIT, found it. http://www.imore.com/how-downgrade-ios-7-beta-back-ios-6

The [CENSORED] at Apple stopped signing! It's all over! I feel so sorry for all users who loved the previous design. :(

I'm glad I was able to downgrade early Friday morning. I only downgraded because one app I like has a bug with in app notifications. There was no way to dismiss them unless I pressed the home button and then went back to the app until the next time.

Loks like this app released an iPhone update but no iPad update.

Same as last year

When 6.0 was introduced, the same thing happened. People were able to downgrade for about a day until Apple changing the signature of the firmware. I learned from then never ever to update immediately when there is such a huge update.

Aside from device features and design, it's really tough for me to gauge what Apple will do with all the bugs and annoyances in iOS 7. Speaking of which, is there a separate thread on the topic? I recall seeing it briefly on the Apple forums but the post was removed.

I too downgraded to iOS 6.1.3 on my 5th gen iPod Touch. Nothing to do with not liking the iOS 7 interface, it was impossible to sync music with 7.0 and for an iPod Touch thats no good to me.

No problems whatsoever doing so on iOS 6 and as music is the sole purpose of the device, im staying with it.

Behold! The beauty of iOS6:

I don't care what anyone says, this was objectively better design. Subjectively, people might still prefer iOS 7, but this had clarity, real depth, and sophistication. I'm hating iOS 7 more and more every time I use it on my devices. It's absolute garbage on the iPad.

You need iTunes 11.1 to sync with iOS 7.

I already had iTunes 11.1 installed prior to upgrading to iOS 7. I'm still using it now with 6.1.3 installed and its syncing properly which confirms to me the issue lies with 7.0.
