Its o2 3.1

How do i change that to 5.0?

I tried all this last night and used settings the shown 2 before this. I also sent ACTIVE to 1010. Had to send txt twice, but had a confirming Picture MMS back from o2.

In About, Carrier, mine shows O2 3.1 and it is working

i tried to do it when i was on o2 3.1 but no luck so i updated it and boom it worked first time

Just plugged my iPhone into my Mac for the first time in a little while and it says it cannot be used with iTunes unless i update to 8.2

But i believe if i do that, i wont be able to update the ipcc file. Is that correct?

I got a message which says "Setting up picture messaging on your iPhone doesn't seem to be working. Give Customer Service a ring and we'l sort it out for you."

Phoned o2 and was told that they are currently provisioning MMS on all iPhone contracts in preparation for the launch of 3.0 next week.

I installed the o2 ipcc file linked above and resent the 'active' message and mms was immediately available and working.

Brilliant, downloading now.

Will report back. Thanks!

did u manage to get mms working, if you have managed to get it to o2 5.0 and have changed the cellular settings then just send the ACTIVE text again and it should work

I also got this MMS message this morning.

I can now send MMS messages. The MMS messages were automatically updated on my iPhone.

Running 3.0 beta 5.

I'm running beta 5 but my option to turn mms on or off has dissapeared.

I've tried this so many times now, and I just keep receiving the same reply saying "Setting up picture messaging on your iPhone doesn't seem to be working".

I have the O2 5.0 carrier file, am running OS 3.0 and have put in the MMS settings manually into Cellular Data section.

Any further ideas?
