I know FedEx delivers the package once it has been cleared and on US soil for 2 days maximum. If your package was cleared yesterday afternoon, and there is no activity (doesn't say in transit), it will most definitely arrive tomorrow. If it arrived today, it might catch the next plane for today. I have 2 iPads that were on the first plane to Alaska, but customs was overloaded and missed the next flight.
 
Worried that my iPad is stuck in Asia...

My iPad left Shenzhen yesterday but it seems to be making a circuitous route to me in LA. Has anyone else seen their tracking (via Yahoo) info show something like this? Worried it's going to bounce around Asia. :confused:

My Smart Cover is now at TA YUAN HSIANG, and left the FedEx ramp there. What the heck? Estimated arrival is next week, bumped from Thursday. :(

I'm not too sure. I don't see any outbound flight from PANC for Fedex all day today and early tomorrow. I'm thinking Friday possible next Monday delivery.

As far as I can tell, Friday was one business day (unless the same braniacs that decided pre-ordering was a bad idea don't count Fridays), Then the fifth day would be Thursday. Going to raise Holy Hell if my ipad still says "Not Yet Shipped" at whatever 5pm time is in China

It'll be here by Thursday as it was originally set to be delivered. But I'll tell you, if it doesnt get here until Monday. I'll be calling apple to complain.

Thank you for the info :) It just got marked as "In Transit" this morning. So, I guess tomorrow or the day after it should be here! It still says 3/17 as the expected delivery day.
 
My smart cover has arrived.

My Ipad tracking stil reads : Left Fedex Origin Facility Shenzen China.

Does this mean its on a plane to Alaska? Or is it just sitting there in China?

As another post noted, there is no "upgraded" shipping. It will get there from Alaska (once it's cleared, which they have no control over) the next day anyway.

That's interesting. Mine is going to Florida, too, yet mine went to Memphis and skipped Alaska! Hmm!
 
Ugh. I ordered the 64 gig wifi in black at 12:55am PT, received my gray SmartCover today, but the iPad hasn't even switched to prepped for shipping. Have any of these been readied or shipped yet? It's supposed to ship in 3-5 business days, but with folks sitting in "prepped to ship" for days, I'm losing hope...
