Somehow, that usually clarifies the demographic of those against the people complaining to Apple.
Drive on public roads much? attend public schools? public hospitals? take a stroll through a public park?
Nope- no car. Nope- went to Catholic school. Nope- I go to Mercy- a Catholic hospital. Nope- don't need a park when you have acres of private land.
Either way, none of those things you listed were "entitlements"
no kidding! omg its insane the way people talk. People dont care about the details, everything is supposed to be even. It doesnt matter if you woke up at 1 am to order and the other person didnt order til 10. They should get theres just as fast as you. It doesnt matter if you have worked and saved for a new house or a new car, everyone else should get one too. Life is not fair people, move on.
How is it a LIE- no one can answer that one. We all know people who have gotten the free smartcovers and expedited shipping for the same inconveniences we are facing. We even posted screenshots... what more do you want?

in no way has Apple broken anything. (in most cases) before you clicked the purchase button it told you when to expects yours, and you have the gall to call demanding free stuff, becuase you don't have it yet? Did the website say next day? Nope, no where, not anywhere. Unbeleaveble..
If a true mistake is made, then fine call.. But if your deliery date is not even pass, then you have no right. This is the exact reason the prices of stuff go up. Sure maybe the case cost 5.00 to make, but if 1000's do it, it bites into the profit. You don't think Apple tries to make up profit?

In fairness, it is a false sense in that you were told to expect delivery between March 18-25.
You had a choice on March 11. Wait in line so you can get it as soon as possible, or choose to order online and get it between March 18 - 25.
Again, answer me this:
Do you have your iPad 2, or is it prepared to ship or has already been shipped? If so, that would explain a lot.
It is as much of a lie as an Apple store employee saying he/she does not know when today's shipment will come in.
