Ordered BLACK 64GB WIFI 3G ON 11th at 1:45 am still in "NOT SHIPPED YET"
I just got off the phone with apple rep and they said it would definatly be shipping within 24 hours. 2 days ago I had been updated to expedited shipping, but today she told me that was not happening for anyone, no matter what they were promised and it did say it in the computer but will not happen.
ALSO, SHE SAID UNITS THAT ARE "3G" WIFI ARE TAKING LONGER TO SHIP!
STANDARD WIFI ONLY ORDERS ARE GOING OUT FIRST AS THEY ARE THE BULK OF WHAT THEY MADE FIRST.
BTW...
I'm in California

Yes, mine finally moved to Prepared for Shipment around 1am this morning, and then when I woke up around 10:00 am, happily found it now as Shipped!

I can now relax :D

I had the same issue. Trust me, there are flights. Mine was in AK until last night and is out for delivery this morning after hitting multple hubs overnight. Have hope.

Yuck. I don't recall anyone being stuck that long, but I wouldn't be worried yet.

Mine is also with yours. If I remember correctly one of our fellow ipad neighbors has a delivery date of Tues...to give everyone hope mine is due in Tulsa on Friday...I am starting to wonder if they will push it to Monday...but Monday is the latest it can be due to FedEx 3-5 Business day rule...minus delays at the boarder.

Im in Alaska too. I dont see any flights leaving there yet, but I guess most of them leave later on in the evening. Hopefully ours will be on the next flight out...

Interesting...thanks for the info. I ordered with 5-7 est ship with both Fed Ex and Apple saying March 22 delivery. It would be nice to have for the first weekend of March Madness! But I'll live it's not til the 22nd...here's to hoping Friday or sooner!
 
I bought mine in the 3 to 5 day window (6:11 AM EST), but it still hasn't shipped yet. Does anyone know if they count Friday the 11th or Monday the 14th as day 1? Depending on which they use it should ship no later than tomorrow of Friday. If it doesn't then they obviously are not making their shipping windows.

On a related note, I also ordered the cover and digital adapter. Both "shipped" on Sunday (though the cover was picked up Monday and the adapter Tuesday). The cover says it will be delivered on March 18th and the adapter says it will be delivered on March 22nd. Not sure why the 4 day discrepancy. Actually the tracking times seem off, even when converted to local time. The adapter says it made it to Hong Kong 8 hours from now (in the future), despite leaving a day later and sitting in clearance for a day, so I'm assuming that's wrong. The cover's last update was 23 hours ago which said it was in transit to Hong Kong, so either it never got there or the tracking details haven't been updated.

I ordered a White 64gb AT&T ipad the first minute that i could and still hasn't shipped out yet. Seems to me that i'm in the same boat as everyone else right now.

I order the same ipad at the same time. I am just wondering if anyone with that ordered a black 64GB WiFi has had their order shipped?

OMG that guy.. I just asked him what's up and told him people that ordered after me (12:46) are already getting tracking numbers etc. He was like, that's not possible since we go on first come first serve basis. At which point I got mad and sad "Are you kidding me? We both know this is BS, I've literally seen people with the same exact order, who ordered 20+ minutes after me already have theirs/or its on the way... Then he was speechless and started rambling. I guess no one called his bs today, so when I did he had no come back other than, its coming as fast as it can.
 
My two iPads are in Newark, just about an hour away. Will definitely be here tomorrow ! :cool:

alternate solution to waiting for 3+ weeks shipment (UNVERIFIED)

Please note that this is unverified, but a trustworthy friend told me this "solution" is underway for him:

Basically, my friend called an Apple Store to discuss iPad 2 availability, and somehow got on the phone with their head of business sales who told him that the Apple Stores are giving preference to their business customers (i.e., new iPad 2 stock goes to business orders first). He says that he simply setup a business profile for his company and then ordered several iPads (for him and a few of his colleagues). Coincidentally, his company may actually become an ongoing business customer, purchasing iPhones, iPads, and possibly Macs for or on-behalf-of it's employees, so I'm sure that helps his chances of getting iPad stock soon.

If this pans out, he'll be able to cancel his shipping-in-4-5-weeks online order and instead have an iPad in just a few days. I'll keep the thread posted on the success ;-)

Yep Same Here. I wonder if the scanning reports delay a bit and we all could have potentially hopped on this flight to Memphis:

I'm in California too. Did she give you an estimated delivery date if it ships within 24 hours?

she said units that are "3g" wifi are taking longer, last to ship!
Standard wifi only orders are going out first as they are the bulk of what they made first.
