Dude, business days are Monday - Friday, everyone in the US understands what that means not sure why you don't - you seem to be a pretty smart guy. I haven't shipped yet, but Apple told me that when I ordered they'd ship in 3-5 BUSINESS days. I expected sooner, but they told me 3-5 and its been 3 going on 4 days. Come the close of business on TH and they haven't shipped, then I will complain, but until then I'll be disappointed but don't see how I can bit** and moan about them keeping their promise.

LMAO- I AGREE THAT A BUSINESS DAY IS MON-FRI - I was saying that it was IRONIC that Apple is open for business EVERY day.
And, actually, it is 4 going on 5 business days (Thursday is day 5). Friday DID count because we ordered in the pre-dawn before the business day started.

Well if we go by the business day rules my iPad should be shipped within 24 hours and shouldn't take more than 3 days to get to me. So hopefully im looking at Saturday or monday at the latest, this is all assuming Fedex doesn't do the ring the doorbell and run back to the truck trip. I will for sure have a rock waiting at my door to throw at him as he tries to drive off.

it was my understanding that saturday deliveries were at an extra price. Maybe its just where I live in Cali. if thats true then thats great news

Here is a another thing to discuss is it China or US Business days? Since most of us ordered 1-3 am what time was that in China since that was before the time change I am thinking between 2 and 4 pm Friday in China? Not sure though.

I don't mind the wait, but it does seem that if they can't fill demand for those who got up early to order, they shouldn't be sending additional orders to stores. And those who ordered what I did *after* I ordered it, should receive it *after* I have received mine. I guess it's a desire for things to be fair.

I just measured my smart cover and it measures 6 7/8 x 9 7/8 x 3/8
off memory the box should be basically the same as the ipad 1 so i would say the same or at most 7 x 10 and it should be around 2 in deep
Nope- at least that's not the case here in Maryland. I get free Saturday standard shipping all of the time with FedEx. Never Sunday. I don't know, I thought the same thing until packages started arriving on Saturdays a few years ago... perhaps we are a testing market and your area will get it later on.

mine 16G white ordered the same time will arrive tomorrow, my second one just shipped?
Ordered very late (probably close to midnight mountain time) this past Friday (3/11) from PCConnectionExpress.com (via telephone, as they do not accept web orders for the new iPad). Didn't see an order in their system two days later so I eMailed them with the order# I was given when I placed the order. The confirmed the order was in their system. Monday I recv'd an eMail with the UPS tracking number. It's scheduled to arrive Friday.
