Ordered a white 32GB wifi at 1:02 PST and still stuck in not yet shipped. Called customer service last night to complain and they gave me apple tv as "goodwill" and credited my account for the purchase of the smart cover. Can't complain now since technically they are still within the window.

This launch was different without pre-orders. I have the exact same model and delivery estimate. Mine shipped today, but I ordered at 1:06 PDT.

Pretty sad and an embarrassment to Apple that other companies are delivering faster than they are for orders places within ten minutes of their own product's release.
 
My 16g black wifi has been in newark since early this morning. I half expected it to go to memphis, as I'm in central VA.

Anyone have the flight numbers for fedex flights from newark to richmond va?

That's weird. I am in Maryland and usually my FedEx packages are routed through Indianapolis.
 
The rep just told me that my order from 3:48 am that has not shipped yet was actually the second batch of orders! WTF

he credited my leather smart case for me though!
 
My 32gb white WiFi finally went to prepared for shipping WHILE I was at Target buying the very same thing. Hmm, now I have to decide what to do with my 'extra'.
 
I ordered 2 at 1246am PST, and either I'm hallucinating or my delivery time magically changed from this week to between the week of 18-25th. Total :apple: fail on online ordering.

Apple needs to delay the 500K European shipment and direct them here. i'm beginning to think Apple has a initial supply of 1 million and only shipped 1/2 to US launch and are sending the other 1/2 to Europe and elsewhere.

This launch has been 1 big cluster****.🙄
 
I swear waiting on Fedex's truck to get here is worse than watching my iPad sit in Alaska for 30 hours. One FedEx Home Delivery truck went by around 11 and didn't even slow down. Since then, I've been looking out the window every time I hear a loud truck or van go by, quietly cursing with each disappointment. So close, yet so far still.

iPad 2 delivered by Fedex this am 🙂

No time to unbox, but should be fun this afternoon 😀
 
Ordered 4 items @ 3:45 am (store opened early if you recall) and so far we have 2 covers and 1 White iPad2 (32-VZW - came today)

The black VZW-32 is still in transit from HK -> to most likely Alaska.

FWIW, all 4 items are taking (have taken) different paths.

One went Philly, one went customs in NJ, one went customs in Alaska.

Seems to be no rhyme no reason with FedEx on these.
 
mine is just changed to "on fedex vehicle for delivery". yay...
but why the estimated delivery still says March 18?
I should get my ipad today by 4:30pm right?
