They probably just flipped everybody's to "prepared for shipping " to pamper everyone one and to cut down on the free stuff they are giving away ....Plus now they get to claim there money , they make there 3 to 5 days to ship and we probably wont see shipped till friday and receive on the 25th :(

Not trying to be a downer , I want mine to as it is on prepared for shipping as well :)

I got the same thing they were cool as ever on the phone saying hey its still within that time frame you should get it by the 25TH. But I did not call to get anything free or push for a discount i called for info and they were just cool and calm and said they were sorry about the long prep time.

Those guys who said they got free cases must of been lying or flipping out like little babies on the phone. Im not going to lower myself to that behavior for a piece of material with magnets in it, I am an adult

Probably the same people who resell one for a profit in order to subsidize the one they bought for their own use.
 
White 32GB Wifi/3G ATT now Prepared to Ship!!!

My other iPad just went to prepared to ship. This was placed the same time I ordered my Black 64GB 3G ATT one on 3/11 at 1:14am PT. Now both are waiting to ship today. Looks like the ATT ones are beginning to ship faster now.

it just amazes me people are calling and freaking out when tomorrow will be the 5th day.. lol.. and I thought i had no life!

I have gained a lot more respect for CSRs after seeing on here what they have gone through this week
 
White 64GB 3G AT&T preparing to ship

I ordered at 12:39am Pacific on the 11th and it just changed status to prepared to ship. Definitely seems like the AT&T 3G wave has started. Don't suppose I will see it on Friday though before we head out of town for a week.:mad:
 
I can't see calling and complaining when it is within the time frame. I'm not planning on using the cover they have anyways so getting a free one would be a waste. I'm probably going to get an otterbox. Spent a lot of money on this iPad( 64gig) and have 3 kids. The smart cover wouldn't be enough. Protection.just glad to see it before next Friday.

Finally!!! Went to prepared for shipping in the last 2 hours some time. I know that doesn't mean much but I've been waiting for something, anything since the 11th at 12:47 pst. :D

Just walked into target after looking up the availability on their website and called to find out they had 2 left in the model I wanted. I was in and out in 10 minutes. I cancelled my online order so hopefully you guys get pushed through a little faster. Good luck and happy padding. Chow!

I have noticed a ton of people doing that, its like jeez really if this has to be a business maneuver you just cant afford it. Give it a break or buy an iPad 1 with the 100 dollar discount. Im sure they have credit card bills that need paid down also.

Whats the wait on the product RED? im going to buy one off eBay tonight im not waiting a month before it ships screw that. plus ebay markup is only like 15-20 bucks max

3-4 weeks..

But I'm gonna stick with buying through apple because some of the money gets donated vs buying off Ebay it doesn't
