I thought i would, but i dont think so, because this is a cool community ! 
I hope people don't go through all of this just to resell.. I gave my iPad 1 to my little sister just so that I am able to still see it (memories).
Dont' its a fun community, plus you have the iPhone 5 coming up, then iPad 3 and the new iPod Touch.. and just plain fun! lol
I ordered friday at 2:30 am central. Got confirmation to ship in 5 days.
Friday at 2:15 pm my ordered was cancelled. I called and complained
3 different times each time they were confused and had no answers , but would call back. Monday pm no call. I got PO'd cancelled the accessories and got return labels. Tuesday I checked order status to see if they issued return.
Then the whole order was restored!!!! iPad and all. Then wed. am
I get a shipping delay notice for 1-2 weeks. Tonight I-Pad and cover
are prepared to ship! I am totally confused!

No but seriously rumors have it this september (not likely now) and probably this time next year.. .
They probably just flipped everybody's to "prepared for shipping " to pamper everyone one and to cut down on the free stuff they are giving away ....Plus now they get to claim there money , they make there 3 to 5 days to ship and we probably wont see shipped till friday and receive on the 25th
Not trying to be a downer , I want mine to as it is on prepared for shipping as well
They haven't flipped mine(s) to "Prepared for Shipping!"
Ordered at 3:11 (pacific time).

Monday the 14th 2
Tuesday the 15th 3
Wednesday the 16th 4
Thursday the 17th 5
Friday the 18th....6?
Ok... someones math is off.. maybe the daylight savings bug affected all their calendars?!
Fedex is not shipping iPads on Saturday, Correct? Is there anyway to get Saturday delivery, even if I have to pay extra (Probably not?)?
No.. Apple doesn't even let you select any shipping and thats a extra service that has to be paid for... if your hasn't shipped out you could try calling apple and asking if thats something you can pay for?
They either aren't counting launch day, or they are saying it should ship by Friday, which in both cases would be 5 days...
That could be it.. 3-5 Business days after you place your order.. 1 day for processing.
That was my exact same argument with 2 of the reps that tried to sell me that bs. I was like: "math is not my strongest subject, but friday-thursday is 5 business days" at which point they will cut me off and say its monday-friday

I am 99.9% sure that will not happen ! Apple has sticked to their 1 year refresh cycle and i have no reason to believe that will change
Fedex has shipped here on Saturdays. I can't see why Apple wouldn't allow for that option.

The Kevin Rose guy or what ever his name is said there might a new iPad 3 this september with better screen and other improvements.... I hope not, that would be like a middle finger to use who purchased the iPad 2...
