Mine is still in hong kong. Fedex made a post on their website about deliveries to and from Japan would be affected, but maybe orders out of china too, due to radiation fears.

The news said the radiation went up to 6,000 feet in the air, so if a no fly zone of 8,000 feet were established a plane would still be able to fly above that right? I know nothing about flight elevations.

No fly zone goes above 90,000 feet, so I'd guess fedex is playing it safe,

btw, I ordered the 16g-black-ATT time stamped at 12:57am on the 11th. Anyone else sit in this status this long?

I ordered the same model at 12:49am pt on the 11th. Went to prepared to ship on Monday morning at 6am and is still there.

I'm not sure what prepared to ship means other than paperwork is done.

I haven't seen anyone post that they have received this model yet.

I ordered same equipment at 1256, still says not yet shipped, it shows as a pending charge on my credit card the cover was billed and shipped on 3/13, it was ordered on 3/11 same as ipad2 but shows it is coming from TX. I ordered ZAGG case which still shows as a pending purchase but I recieved e-mail yesterday saying it had shipped. Hopefully ipad will ship soon or the site just hasnt caught up! Of course Shenzhen CH is 11 hrs ahead of us so its 9:53 p.m. there now, don't have any idea what there work schedule is but assume its 24/7.

Finally changed to prepared to ship last nite between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. (Status is still the same) Cover picked up on March 14 on track for delivery tomorrow (18th) If schedule holds true hopefully will have Ipad on the 20th (inside the delivery date prediction)

Ordered 16gb/wifi+3G/att/white on 3/11 at 1:08a pst. Hopefully some activity will happen today. Although yesterday I received the AV adapter. Funny thing is that the shipping label said Laguna, CA yet tracking was from Shenzen to my office suite???? Why wouldn't the label just say Shenzen, China (as place of origin)?? Kind of had me thinking this thing was in the US the entire time.

I have the same model ordered at 1:19AM and just checked still not yet shipped.
Today is day 5 so technically they have until 1:19AM on Friday to have it shipped. Since it has not yet been prepared to ship that does not seem very likely.

64gb Black wifi-only, ordered at 1:22 am PST. Finally went to Preparing to Ship yesterday evening, and shipped this morning. Apple met their 3-5 day shipping window (even though it said 2-3 days as I placed the order), I am content. Hoping it is here by Monday or Tuesday. AV adapter ordered at the same time made it yesterday, one day earlier than Fedex's estimated delivery date. Black leather Smart cover shipped same day as the AV adapter (March 12), but has been sitting in Hong Kong ever since. Estimated delivery date on that has slipped from today to the 22. Hopefully my new iPad is delivered by then also.

I have purchased 2 iPhone 3G's, 2 iPhone 4's, and original iPad, and now this iPad 2 - so I am pretty hooked in to Apple's ordering process over the last 3 years. I have to say, this is by far the least satisfying experience, and I hope it is not repeated with future IOS products, or I may be moving on.

Mine also had the popular 11:55 Lantau Island scan. Just got to work and checked our system and it looks like mine is enroute to Anchorage right now, with an estimated arrival time of 1:37pm Alaska time. I'm not sure if everyone who had the 11:55 scan is headed to Alaska- I imagine it depends on the final destination and commit date. My commit date isn't until 3/22.
