White 16GB WiFi Shipped

Ordered on 3/11; prepared for shipment yesterday and shipped today. Delivery date is Monday, 3/21. Apple offered faster shipping. Too bad I don't want the Ipad model that I ordered. I decided after ordering that I wanted black 3G Verizon so I will be selling this one on Ebay. Got the model I wanted on Ebay today for delivery tomorrow.

I'm glad this is coming to an end. It's just frustrating standing in lines and not getting the product, ordering online from a store that said they definitely had it in stock and not getting that one either.

Didn't you say that yours got to AK today though? As long as it makes it to AK today, you'll get it tomorrow.

Edited to add: I hope you do get it tomorrow because it'd suck to have to wait a full weekend for your new toy. But I wish I was in your shoes, my iPad went to "prepared for shipment" on Sunday. Nothing since.

My White 32GB AT&T iPad 2 shipped today. Interestingly, it looks like it was initially after the cutoff time, but might have left Shenzhen anyway 20 minutes later. FedEx ETA is 3/23 (was 3/22 before the "after FedEx cutoff time" status).

idk, I'm not into that flight tracking .. I don't even know where to begin with that, all the people that knew how to do that has already received their iPads and left this discussion. I sure wish they were around.

Ah! Got it. Sorry, I must have misread your message. :(

Based on my experience with the cover, and that of a lot of people here, people seem to be getting their orders a day ahead of the date quoted on the FedEx site. Good luck!
 
Still in Prepared for Shipping

It's been in this state for almost 3 days now.. "Prepared for Shipping"... Black 16GB 3G (AT&T)... Spoke with Apple and they merely said there is a huge demand... I ordered right when it went live for order.

no prob, at least my retarded(smart) cover will be here tomorrow to torture me throughout the weekend
 
IPAD WI-FI AT&T 16GB BLACK has shipped!

I received the shipping notice at 11:45 this morning. FedEx ETA is 3/23; Apple is saying 3/24. I was hoping to have it to take on vacation with me on 3/22. Oh well, my son will have a great time playing with it while we're gone! Hope this is a good sign that the 3G models are finally moving. BTW, mine sat in "prepared for shipment" mode for nearly 75 hours! Almost forgot, my smart cover came today!

since mine has not showed up in Japan yet, i am fairly confident that I will be on the plane that is due to arrive in AK a little before 2pm their time! Which means....i should have mine tomorrow as they promised!

Service: IP Direct Distribution - faster (my smart cover) receive 2 days after ship day

Service: International Economy Distribution - slow (my iPad) receive more than 2 days after ship day

check your fed ex tracking to see which service you have

Agreed though I am REALLY hoping otherwise, I bet our shipment sits for a while in TW or Alaska thru Friday, maybe for Monday delivery, but not tomorrow. :mad: So frustrating since they could deliver tomorrow if it got moving now. Did get my smart cover today....

there is a flight that left Taiwan at 8:30 (Taiwan time). I am hoping it took that flight and will hit anchorage at about 2:15 today. I am not really confident in that though cuz package status is not a good sign.
 
I see no flights headed into Anchorage right now......my ipad left Lantau and was hoping it was going to AK or arrived at anch. already

Please let us know if you see anything. My smart cover made it from AK to my door in less than a day so there is a slim but fading hope for Friday if it gets there tonight.
