It does say that because of the earthquake in Japan fedex has had problems.
According to fedex I should receive it by March 23. Most likely it'll be sooner!

Expected 3/22 by 4:30 but I know all of their deliveries are at 10am in my neighborhood.
Plus I know my FedEx guy and he knows I am waiting on it.
How can you be sure??? My iPad has been held at the sort facility in Alaska for 3-4 hours already.
Yup! The upside - fedex ships but doesn't deliver on the weekend, so we have a good shot of ours gettin to AK tomorrow, then a local dist. point Saturday, chillin Sunday, and in our hands Monday. That's my hope, anyway. My order was checked onto the island at 11:59pm today, and those that got there at 11:59pm yesterday were sent on to Anchorage about 22 hours later. Hoping today's pattern is the same!

I was awake and kept refreshing the web screen every few minutes the morning online Internet sales started.
My order was completed according to their system on: Mar 11, 2011 at 12:49 AM PDT, or 03:49am EST.
All 3 accessories have shipped, the only item that has not shipped is the IPAD WI-FI 3G 32GB BLACK-USA.
Clearly my email order acknowledgment reads,

My order was clearly one of the early ones placed on Apples website.
Since I ordered on a Friday, when they say ships in 5 business days, is Friday considered to be the first business day? If so, Apple has let me down.
If Friday is not considered the first business day, they then have 24 hours to send me an email which say's my iPad has been schedule for shipping.
Is there anyone else who ordered within the first few minutes of their website opening up for sales that has not received a shipping notification?
I did not have any engraving done to the iPad.

I agree with the ending of this article.

The flight's are usually listed as "left ramp." "In transit" seems to be by land, as I've been able to work out. My guess is we'll all be on the 10am EDT flight tomorrow morning from Lantau to the US
