This is why the logistics make no sense. My Ipad arrived in Memphis about the same time as your smart cover. Your smart cover left Memphis shortly thereafter but my Ipad is still in Memphis hours later. Why aren't the Ipads shipping as fast as the covers?

What is this crap! Mine went from Alaska to Memphis to Oakland and is now back in Memphis! And I'm in los Angeles! Logistical experts at fedex it seems
I am also in Northern California. Mine has been sitting in Lantau for over 24 hours. I got up this morning and no change. Still sitting in Lantau. I ordered at 12:56 on the 11th.
I'm not even looking forward to getting mine next week. I've been on Spring Break all week expecting to have my iPad to mess around with and now school starts back Monday. I have 2 mid-term exams this upcoming week and I will not be able to focus with having a new iPad.
I have no idea why you were expecting to have it all this week. That sounds like an expectation issue to me.
It's about time we left Japan! Does anyone know what flight or where? Looks like it left at 10:14pm Japan time?
Apple did not meet their shipping requirement despite them telling me I would be upgraded to priority shipping and that I would receive it in the window listed on the status. Well I did not get priority shipping and my delivery date has slipped to the 24th. I ordered my 32g WI-fi 3G at 1:15pst. Wish I would have ordered from AT&T now.
Maybe you should cancel your order and let someone with more realistic expectations have your iPad. Have they "officially" missed your delivery window? No. So settle down.
I know that they have a Disneyland in Lantau Island so I understand why my iPad wants to hang out there for a while, but come on, Disney World is 10x better than the HK Disneyland. Hurry home to Orlando so we can have fun together. (Scheduled delivery Wednesday, although my cover was delivered a day early)

Mine too - ordered at the exact same time, got my ipad cover the next day, still "Not Yet Shipped" on my iPad.
Mine looks like yours on Fedex track, but on Business tracking I'm leaving Japan right now. (Hopefully for the U.S), with some of these other guys. Are you arriving Tuesday by 4:30?
JC your right, they have not missed their window of delivery. But if they are like me, they keep changing that window. My delivery was set to the 18th-22nd. My iPad is still sitting in Lantau right now and has been there for over 24 hours. They changed the estimated delivery to the 23rd and now the 24th. At this rate, I could be inside their window forever.

64gb black wifi ordered 1:12 am PST 3/11/11 expecting to deliver 3/22 by 4:30. Expecting to be extremely over excited by Tuesday night.
Anyone know what fedex flight # this is (or when it is-what it will be)?
That's actually my business tracking. It's scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, so I don't expect to see any movement until tomorrow at the earliest.
If it's anything like my cover, it'll go to Japan tomorrow, it'll eventually make its way to Alaska, Memphis and Orlando and deliver a day early (Tuesday.)
I would actually prefer to have it delivered on Wednesday since I have to be home that day because I'm having a new central AC system installed in my house, so I'd be home to receive it vs having to sign a delivery release form for Tuesday.
Oh man, so i guess i have to wait 24 hours for it to leave Japan
