Ipad2 Shipping

I ordered on 3/11 at 12:55PST. My Ipad 2 - 16GB WiFi White is "Prepared for Shipment". It was originally showing ships in 3-5 days. We'll see how fast it updates to shipped.

Your best bet is to call your local store.. and find out! I ordered online and it shipped but today for fun I went to my local Apple, Bestbuy, AT&T, Verizon, Target, Wal-Mart (all within 2 miles of each other) and they all had.....0 and didn't know when they were getting more in..

Well it's 00:52am in GMT (London time) now. So it could of been that, just a little delayed. Makes sense as GMT is basically the standard time, not ahead or behind just +00.

Anyway if you lot are saying you just got the fedex update saying your iPad 2's have been picked up today, i guess any shipped after now will have an ETA of the 18th.

I meant the customer service on AT&T web site.

April 7th.. that blows. Stake out Bestbuy... or apple stores..

i just chatted with apple cs and they said if you place an order now it wont ship until 2 to 3 weeks. i am very confused as someone on this board said he/she ordered at 630 and was told it would arrive next week.
 
As i said many times before, all the iPads are in bulk, until it clears customs, then it splits up and leaves to the destination state. it will arrive sooner than the 17th, this date is given to account any delays by customs which will not happen

I ordered mine last nite and it shows a shipping date of April 1....

Ordered about 12:45 AM PST 3/11, got the 3-5 day estimate
64 GB wifi black

I got the shipping notification this morning, 3/12 8AM.

Current Fedex tracking: Picked up in Shenzhen, scheduled delivery 3/17.

My case shipped from CA, scheduled delivery 3/15.
 
April 7th! But you can always cancel before they ship it out right? So if you can't find it in the next week or so, at least it will still be in queue. But if you find it, there shouldn't be a problem canceling the order? Did anyone else do this?
 
Ordered 2 AT&T iPads on Apple at 3:50EST launch day and nothing

My iPad order is still not showing signs of shipping. Just says not yet shipped.
Ordered a black and a white 64gig AT&T ipads from the Apple store the second it went live on 3/11.

Very dissapointed in Apple.

Someone in the logistics department needs to be taken out back and flogged.

You can cancel it up to prepared for shipment, after it hits that you can't cancel

Its only been 2 days give them 3 to 5 like you were quoted then start complaining, I bet you it gets prepared tonight.

I did the same thing. Here is the script

Me: I want to know the approximately delivery time of iPad now?
Me: if I place an oder today
CS: It takes two business days to ship.
Me: so if I order it today, it will arrive on Wed?
CS: Correct.
Me: ok thx
