Even by FedEx's web site, KIX has not been effected at all. Yes, I want to scream at them. Besides, if they couldnt do anything there, why would they send the package there in the first place?

I can't seem to find any published future schedules for FDX but lookling at what's left there, here's what I see.....

KIX-MEM around 02:30
KIX-OAK around 06:00

So if you see a voilent murder spree around 18:30 today in central virgina it's becuase my damn ipad didn't get on either of these flights.

I hate Apple and I hate FedEx

Of course we understand what has happened there. What I don't understand is why some US bound iPads make a stop in Japan, while most others head from the Island directly to Alaska.

If that part of Japan is devistated, why would you route anything in that direction?
 
For many of us on west coast with estimated delivery on 03/23, I think iPad2 will leave LANTAU ISLAND tomorrow night their time which is around 7 AM PDT on 03/22. This is just a theory based on smart cover's journey. Then it will land in AK sometime afternoon and then travel to Oakland and then from Oakland to final destination on Tue night.
 
So having escaped Lantau Island, was my iPad able to catch the direct flight to Memphis? No, not him. He had to go to Taiwan which means he will likely also go through Japan and Anchorage before getting to Memphis. Looks like the 23rd will be the 24th.

I have the same tracking info for my iPad. Since I don't see any more FedEx flights today, it looks like day 4 on Lantau Island. Crazy. Somehow, FedEx still lists a 3/23 delivery for me. I will believe it when I see it.

Except for the info transmit and pickup time, I'm in the exact same boat with same time stamps. This is so frustrating. When and what model did you order? 64GB ATT here.
