My 64-gig black wifi only iPad has the exact same Lantau island time stamps as yours they must be enjoying the scenery from the same pallet.

My iPad has been on vacation with yours on that island for 4 days now. I'm guessing they'll be travel buddies on their way here to the states.

I'm glad I ordered on March 11 1:13PDT EARLY! Imagine if we had ordered later?!?!
 
Well it made it to the house and now is inside waiting for me to get home from work. Now if the time would just go faster. Best of luck to all of you still waiting. Hope they get there quickly.

Well I'm happy to report that I received mine today. Just knocked on my door, they didn't put it on a truck until after 10am. I guess I lucked out, but I do hope for speedy deliveries for the rest of you. (If they ever leave Lantau..)

I hear ya. I had the same problem when they delivered the smart cover. Both of us were home at the time and neither heard the knock (no doorbell ring either). Didn't find out they were even there until I checked the delivery status online and saw the missed delivery. Hope the same doesn't happen for the iPad itself or else we'll have to camp by the front door all day.

Looks like you are traveling with me. Flight Fedex 60. Non-stop to Memphis. Looks like I will be getting mine by Wednesday on the east coast in Florida.

You better check your ipad for STD's.... hanging around on that island for 4 days with no supervision and hundreds of other ipads and all their accessories mightbe too much for your ipad to resist. Make sure to check all its ports throuorgly before inserting any of your connectors or cables :)

Four days on Lantau now for my iPad. Still scheduled for delivery on the 23rd.

Try Google Earth for Lantau, very modern looking in some places. I think I would like to visit there some day.

I actually had no tracking on my Smart Cover from the day it was shipped until it landed in Memphis. It shipped, no information for 3 days, and then it was in Memphis.

Well looks like mine wasnt on the Memphis flight! In a perfect world
based on past performance taking this route it wont be delivered to Lexington Ky until 25th which isnt the 23rd date they promised! Yahoo doesnt even project a deliver date. FedEx and Apple still show it "in transit" Lantau Island with a deliver date of 23rd. Dont see how they are gonna make that! Been patient to this point but not happy if they miss promised deliver date since I was one of the first to roder!!!
 
Looks like FedEx is NOT going to let me have a day early. Jacksonville is less than 90 minutes away. History

Just got off the phone with Fedex. The lady I spoke to was very nice, said she's been answering questions about this particular pallet all morning. She said there is a freight flight going to Anchorage tonight that this pallet will be on and confirmed my target delivery date of the 23rd in southeastern VA.

My guess is that it's all the iPads that showed up during the weekend and that they simply started piling them up since they weren't shipping over the weekend.

Why they don't just move them to a bunch of smaller pallets is anyone's guess. Though, based on my shipping info, 700 iPads would only weigh about a ton and be about 155 cubic feet in size (5 ft x 5 ft x 6.2 ft for example). A cargo plane should be able to handle that, no problem.
 
Apparently there is a problem with FDX60 KIX-MEM. It is late as has not yet departed. Was supposed to have departed at 2035 LT.
 
I just received mine ahead of the FedEx tracking schedule. It was shipped on the 17th and stated to arrive the 23rd.....but the FedEx guy just dropped it off 20 mins ago. I'm here in Los Angeles if anyone was wondering. My order was placed on the 11th at 1:21am so pretty much when they went online.

Once hits AK it will be in Memphis in no time.
