I ordered the same iPad 2 as you at the same time... and mine is following the same shipping schedule as you... hm...:confused:

That's understandable, just know that many of us were skeptical/pissed/frustrated and ranting all day yesterday about the same thing... upon seeing our ipads get to Alaska today, hope has been regained...

now of course if I'm wrong and all 23rd del date people like myself do not get our iPads, skeptical/pissed/frustrated will be back with avengeance!

Now it has said prepared for shipping since saturday. I think some of the backlog is clearing up folks. So they just made it today would be the 7th business day? However in China already and says will be deleviered on 25. 3 days.. sweet.

She wanted to let me know that the shipment had finally be loaded on to an Anchorage flight last night and was currently being sorted in Anchorage. This same person told me the night I called that she thought it would be loaded first on the Anchorage flight. She turned out to be pretty smart. She also was kind enough to call me this morning and said she would continue to update until the package had arrived. She said she was tracing it.

So I guess after 5 days in a warehouse the smart/brilliant people at FedEx finally figured out what to do with a pallet that is "too big"...

In hindsight, I don't think she was BSing, but the "big pallet" was never really a problem. Only that because we were all on this big pallet, there was no chance of our iPads getting on an earlier flight. The early delivery peeps, were all lucky to be on a pallet that was bumped up onto early flights because space/logistics planning allowed for it...

The destination is Chattanooga, TN so it still has a distance to go. Apple gave me a delivery date of March 23rd, while Fedex is showing a March 24th delivery date. I'm just wondering how many people are still waiting for iPads that purchased before the 1am online store launch?

Mine is the same model on the same shipment headed to Ohio with the same delivery dates. My order was placed at 1:07.

Log into your Apple account in the store and view your order status or view the shipment confirmation email and click where it says to pre-sign for the shipment. You will have to agree to the TandC's and then it will show you the paper to print out for FedEx.

I am typing this from my iPad! It's my first iPad.
 
Yahoo's tracker certainly seems more up-to-date

On the FedEx site, my status hasn't been updated since 3/21 (last scan at Lantau). I just checked Yahoo and it turns out my iPad left Lantau on 3/22, had a brief stop in Taiwan and is now in the air again.

Odd how Yahoo can have more current FedEx info than FedEx does.

Tulsa Deliveries?

Anyone on here had their iPad delivered to Tulsa, OK? If so please post your tracking info from once it hit the states. Trying to gauge when mine will arrive. It isn't due until Thursday but it sounds like a lot are getting here early by a day or so. I leave for vacation tomorrow evening and really want to get my hands on it and get it synced before I go.

Any help would be great. Thanks.
 
Got an email from fedex customer relations last night elling me my package was in AK and should be delivered tomorrow. My tracking said 24th and I live in PA I hope she is right.

32 gb black AT&T 3G I can't wait

Mine will b coming out of Tulsa but I'm waiting to see if it will b delivered tomorrow. It's sitting in Alaska right now.
 
32 GB white wifi iPad 2, ordered at 2:30 p.m. EST, March 11, original estimated shipping date of April 1 and delivery date of April 6. Shipping email just received showing 11 p.m. CMT, March 22 shipment from Shenzhen, estimated delivery date of March 29. Delivery is to northern Virginia.

I ordered on 03/11/11 at 1:18 am PST...ipad 2 64GB Wifi only no engraving.. it FINALLY ARRIVED..i cannot wait to get home..see you all next year.

I can't believe that mine arrived in Memphis on the same place and couldn't be sent on either of the next two planes to Jersey. :mad: Very happy for you though:)
