Same tracking info as you....scheduled for delivery 3/23 by 4:30 in Philly....any chance that is going to happen?

I'm in DC - same tracking, same projected delivery - I figure either Newark or Memphis. I'm excited. My mood has shifted from sulky frustration to anticipation. (Only downer is those two posters who state FedEx lost their shipments. Please, no!)

I'm betting Anchorage to Memphis; I'm hoping plenty of flights to Dulles - then on the truck dropping yours off first and then continuing onto DC (just over the Key Bridge).

Arlington, VA. Same tracking info, same hope! Will this crusade come to an end tomorrow. Probably we all will miss Lantau Island. Nothing to pull your hair over. Apple just impressed me. They can do much better with other stuff than the iPad. Ordered memory upgrade Sunday evening, received it today and had the local Apple store install it within 10 minutes. Great! I love Apple!

I think that's why we all reacted with such frustration - Apple is not "normally" this bad. I'm hoping they now understand that skipping preorders is a bad idea, and will allow them for the iP5. Assuming my iPad2 arrives tomorrow with all of yours, I won't clutter up this thread with my posts. However, I do want to thank all members of this community of Lantau Islanders for all the humor, information, and moral support you provided.

Another anxious DC area resident here. Having my 64 gb Black ATT delivered to Arlington, VA. Been sitting in Anchorage since 6:00 am and got Release for Delivery around noon.

I see that both Memphis bound flights have left, but my records were not updated either way as being "Held" or "Left". So, I'll be optimistic and hope that it made one of those and I'll get it tomorrow which was my original estimated delivery date (though it was pushed back to Thursday during the "island fiasco").

9:30 pm Update Tracking suddenly updated with "2011-03-22 15:58:0 Left FedEx Sort Facility ANCHORAGE, AK" -- which means I made the FX 28 - Departing at 4:05, arriving Memphis just before 1:00 am. Hoping for a quick resort to make the 3:30am flight to Dulles and out for delivery to me just after lunch!

Mine was released along with others at 1332..
It has now been updated on Yahoo to "Held at sort facility" at 16:42.
FedEx's tracker indicates "in transit"..
Don't know which is which or what..
