Ok, been seeing a lot of people close to the time I ordered having their status change to: Prepare to ship. So i've been cking mine all day here/there...

I took a nap....did some other stuff, n decided ok...maybe mine changed now...

AND :) yep! FINALLY...says "Prepared to ship"

Ordered 16gb wh wifi on 3/11 @ 7:20am PDT (no engraving)

Ship date still the same - April 1
Delivers - April 8

Hmm wonder if ship/deliver dates will get moved up? ya, wishful thinking..lol

Mine left at 15:58 as well, but the flight is more likely FDX28 since that flight left at 15:58, while FDX92 left at 15:53 (5 minutes before it left the sorting facility).

The other reason FDX28 is more likely is because both my Cover and Adapter came in on a flight via Mephis:

In the same boat...also in Sac (Natomas). I think our iP2s are on FEX86, which is scheduled to arrive in OAK at 9:47. Good luck to us both. :)

I have the same time stamp. I am in southern cal. Will it make for delivery tomorrow? How to find out flight info?

I had mine creep back from "delivered by" 4:30p to 6:00p. I'm sure it'll be Thursday at the latest anyway...

In the same boat as you. Been watching the last 3 days with nothing new. Kinda depressing. Still hoping for a on time delivery though.
 
Like someone else who posted, my iPad has a different status depending on which site you're looking at.

Los Angeles here. From Oakland, does it go to LAX or Ontario? Wish it would go to Burbank but doubtful. Its so close I can taste it!!!:p

Thanks DotCom2. We have had a long flight and my ipad is tired, but happy. I have been cranky off and on for a few days. I need to learn to to obsess so much. We will all have fun with our shiny new ipads in no time. I wish the best to everyone waiting. Especially the ones that obsess like me. :eek: Been quite a journey from our birthplace in China, hasn't it DotCom?

Ordered at 6:24am PT, Mar 11. It had an estimated ship date of Apr. 1.

Truly a long haul. Not that I haven't enjoyed the company along the way (misery loves company :p), I'm just glad it will be over tomorrow.

Next round, Apple needs to get it's ***** together and offer pre-orders. This launch was probably the worst that I've ever seen. Glad it's done!

Seeing all these prepared for shipping and they were placed on the 11th. I placed my order on the 15th. It really depresses me to know that I will not get my iPad 2 until the end of April.:(

I feel your pain vi. The best thing you can do is not read here too often. It depressed me too to watch people getting their iPads and mine was still sitting in the FedEx building in China. I stopped coming here so often and got on with life. I know it is hard when you want a new toy. :p

Hang tough vi, you are in a better position that lots of people. You will have your new shiny iPad soon enough.

Ok, so fedex is stating a delivery date of the 24th here in CT. It's now 1:19 am on wednesday the 23rd and both fedex and yahoo are stating my package is still on Lantau. Who here thinks or even better, knows that my package could realisticly still make it to CT by the 24th?
 
Finally made it to Oakland

Been lurking in this thread for quite awhile and I must say it has been really helpful on how to cope with the iPad 2 anxiety (read as long wait times in Lantau Island, hahaha). Hopefully FEDEX and apple make it to their promise of delivery in Southern California by tomorrow :)

Mine left last night and scheduled to be here in Texas tomorrow

My 2nd att iPad has arrived in Indianopolis about 10 minutes ago.... So not excited anymore since I scored one at best buy today. But maybe it gets delivered tomorrow we will see I have the day off
