My 32GB wifi 3G black Verizon has shipped and missed the fedex cutoff, but my white 64GB wifi only hasn't even entered prepared to ship mode. Both ordered at the same time and right when they went up. Both my smart covers have shipped as well.


Just waiting on the white iPad, though it looks like they charged my credit card for it as well now. Hoping it at least goes into prepare to ship mode today, so I would stop worrying about it being cancelled.
 
Anyone have clue or similar order as to ship date. My poly smart cover shipped with tracking number but my 16GB Verizon black with engraving hasn't prepared for shipping yet. I really wanted it engraved for my Wife but am regretting it a little now. I ordered at 7:02 am Eastern and it is still listed as 3-5 business days to ship and 3/18-3/25 delivery.

Any thoughts on when it might sip or arrive, I am on the east coast???? Thanks.
 
My smart cover shipped 3/11 and is scheduled to get here on Tuesday.
32GB iPad wifi black, shipped 3/12 late in the evening and missed the fedex cutoff, scheduled to get here Thursday.
64GB 3G ATT Black iPad is still Not yet shipped.
 
I ordered a 32GB Wifi Black model (yes probably the most popular) and the Digital Video Connector (i.e. HDMI). My whole order shows "Prepared for shipment", so I assume that means it is going to be shipped out tonight!?!?! When I ordered my MBP last week, it showed prepared for shipment for about a day and then went out via Fedex that night. I ordered at 5:45AM Central (or about 6:45AM/3:45 EST/PST) on Friday Morning. I assume this means I as well got in on the first shipment. I would be completely stoked to have it this week.

Man am I glad I didn't stand in line for hours just to get it a week earlier.

I ordered a 32GB white WIFI iPad2 and a pink smart cover at 8:30AM ET (5:30AM PT) on the 11th. They both have shipped. The cover shipped on the 11th and the iPad shipped on the 12th. Should arrive early next week (UPS)

Here's the possible thread crapping part.

I ordered them from MacMall because they also have free shipping but NO SALES TAX.
Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone still wants to order and would be interested in an alternative to Apple.
 
Ordered my 32GB black wifi at 3:26PST. Was initially quoted 5 to 7 days. My order says "Prepared for Shipment".

Awesome.

I placed my order for my White 64GB - 3g Verizon Ipad on Friday morning 4:07 am, EST. When I woke back up on Friday - there was a problem with authorization of my card (which I only found out by going to my order status and saw the note on the website)...Discover was nice enough to mark it as fraud and freeze my account. I got that all worked out (I thought) - through Apple.com reauthorized my card again and I thought all was peachy...

This morning i get an email from payments@apple.com saying there was a problem with my card. I call discover - they say there is the original hold of 1000 and then they tried to push another almost 1000 through..I don't have a high limit on that card so it cannot handle over 2000. So I call apple as soon as they start this morning...she tells me everything looks good...I do not see a note on the website like I saw the first time..but I am praying everything is OK because I am still at "not yet shipped" status. My only thought is the email I received today is a delayed message from the first issue with the card. The only reason I put it on my discover in the first place was because I get 5% cash back..ughhh...

Sorry for venting..I am so jealous of everyone whose have shipped. I am going on a road trip this weekend and really want it so I have something to do in the car...fingers crossed I somehow get it.
 
Just woke up to this from 11:35 EST last night!!

SHIPPING

Now I just hope my Smart Cover doesn't get here after my iPad!

EDIT: Just noticed that Apple Email says expected Delivery by March 16 and FedEx says expected Delivery March 17..I assume FedEx says the 17th in case of any delay?

My black 32GB Wi-Fi advanced to "Prepared for Shipping" overnight. :) Ordered at 6:18 EST Friday morning, was in the 5-7 days Expected to Ship group.

It says my order was picked up March 13, 10:57 in Shenzen, CN with an expected delivery by March 17, and Apple says March 16, but what does it mean that it was received after FedEx cutoff?
 
Just got the shipment notification that my Smart Cover has shipped but my iPad 2 is still not yet shipped. Hoping it gets shipped this week.

Same here: ordered 64gb,ATT 3G at 4:30 EST on March 11, and still not even "prepared for shipment". Seems like a hang-up in production, as later orders without 3G seem to be shipping. Still in the 3 to 5 day window, though, so shouldn't be alarmed, but it sure would be nice to see some progress.
 
Orange cover has now shipped out finally. It is coming from China..

Gray cover shipped out from Memphis on 3/11.

No movement yet on 64GB 3G AT&T iPad. Seems like a production delay on this model for both black and white..

I got the exact same thing. I think it simply means that it was received on a Sunday, so nothing will be done with it before Monday. I'm pretty sure it will be delivered on 3/17 like it says.

By the way, I placed my order at 7:41AM PST, at the time when it said shipping in 2-3 weeks and got an estimate that it will ship on April 1. It has now shipped! I ordered 32GB/White/Verizon.
 
i ordered a black 64GB Wi-Fi + 3G iPad2 at 4:02 am on 3/11/11. it says 3-5 day shipping. i also went to my local apple store to pick up some stuff and they sold out of iPad2's in 1h:30m. I bought an Apple tv, 12 south compass stand, $50 itunes card, iPad camera connection kit, and an iPad keyboard dock.:D
 
About 10:00 am Sunday cst - I think that equates to about 10:00 pm Sunday China time .... so things probably won't start status changing till early Monday China time - about midnight tonight cst.
