Does yours say in Transit too? Well, at least I know it is on its way!

11 pm in China, where the iPad is coming from. I had updates coming from China, though, yesterday at 5-ish PM which was 6 AM there. They seem to be updating stuff around the clock.

I think I read that they do a lot of stuff on Sunday, too.
 
I just received the shipment notification for a 16gb black Verizon. Fedex says it will arrive in Baltimore on Thursday.

iPad 2 shipping date question

Hi all! I've been combing through the thread to see if anyone has already answered my question, but I couldn't find it... I was unable to go to get an iPad2 on 3/11 because I broke my wrist and had surgery on 3/10 to fix it :( I'm off of work for a while, so I plan on going to an Apple store on Monday morning to see if they've gotten any new shipments. In the meantime, I ordered my 32GB black Wi-Fi iPad2 online this morning in case I'm unable to get one in person. It says it will ship on April 11th... does anyone know if that can change? Is there a chance that it might ship early?

I agonized over getting the verizon or ATT model. After being dead set on verizon for reasons of reliability over speed, thought over it again and ATT won out since all my destinations had ATT 3G and verizon maps don't show strength if signal. Now would switch my decision in a second just to get my iPad sooner.
 
Gah! Every launch I say I'm going to stay out of these threads because ether always make me crazy! I ordered a 32gb white wifi iPad at 12:59am pst and it's still not even prepped for shipping. My orange smart cover and dv adapter have both shipped with Thursday delivery.

A lot of bloggers have said apple tends to be conservative concerning shipdates so there is a chance it could ship earlier.
 
My order was in about 3:10AM CT (1:10 Pacific time) and my 64GB White 3G hasn't shipped and my Tan Cover has been showing as prepped since mid day Friday.

OK, Like everyone else, I wanted mine "yesterday". I'm happy because I know I'll eventually get this iPad I've wanted. The laws of Supply and Demand have taken control briefly. This beast would probably go -on the street- for a $1000.00 initially but diminish in value over the next month. Now, I'm hoping to get my accessories by the time I get my new baby. Good luck to all of you. I am only 65 years old - you would think I could be a little more calm.

Thanks for that! It seems to be updated more often. My fedex.com tracking is still on yesterday's status of having missed the Fed Ex cut off.

That link shows that it left the fed ex facility in Shenzhen, China a while ago.

And history is:

No change since order was placed. I haven't seen any of this model with any movement yet. Or did I just miss it? Thanks.
