Not sure why your status has not changed. Another weird thing is they changed my delivery date from April 23 to April 26???????

from what i've seen even if you're "Prepared for shipment' the ship and deliver dates won't be accurate until you actually get the "Your order has shipped" email
 
ipad delays

Not sure what the hold up is??? My delivery date still says Thursday April 7...I don't see how thats possible seeing as though my ipad is still in Taiwan. Driving me nuts waiting...

Yeah mine is on the island. waiting. I did a google "street view" and I don't like the looks of the place. (just kidding). This same thing happened when I got my iPad 1. Sketchy places and times that were wrong. But, I got it a day early. My aunt got hers last week and said the same thing. Sitting on that island and she got it a day early. So - fill out your fedex pre sign thing even a day early. Those dates and places don't mean much.
 
Just got my shipping notice. Ordered from AT&T site on March 16 @ 8:51PM Eastern. It'll be here on Thursday (4/7) via FedEx 2day shipping :)

so this is now the 3rd person who ordered after I did getting shipped before me (and 2 of those 3 with the same model as I ordered).. not cool Apple... I better wake up to a shipping notice tomorrow

I think that one was ordered from AT&T not Apple. That's what I gathered from the post.

eh so still 2 of my exact same model ordered hours after mine getting PTS status and I'm sitting at NYS. I mean as long as it ships within 24 hours I'm ok with it, just kinda bummed after being told by Apple "Orders are fulfilled in the order they are placed" which is obviously only a generalization and not truth

Looks like my ipad 2 and your ipad 2 are getting cozy in Taiwan ;) Wish they'd hurry it up!

Oh well, I guess they either forgot me or didn't scan me, well at least it's on the way and will make it here some day. Thanks for the link. Hopefully I'll get up in the morning and will see it made it to Alaska! Either way they are going to have a tough time meeting the 4/7 delivery date that they are showing right now.

We're in the same boat. Mine just made it to Memphis on the same flight. I'm in San Jose. Wish it would have gone to SFO instead of Memphis. My ETA according to FedEx is 4/7. Would love to get it one day sooner, but I don't think it'll go from Memphis to San Jose in less than a day.

Actually you are one of the lucky ones who skipped Anchorage. Memphis is their super hub and they have two flights daily to all their other sort facilities around the country.

You could very easily see your Ipad today.
 
Mine is according to the Fedex page also still on Lantau Island. Though yahoo says TA YUAN HSIANG.
