Mine shipped on the 3rd, but has been hanging out on Lantau Island for quite a while now. :confused: Expected delivery is tomorrow (7th). I hope they can get it to me by then.

We're in the same boat. Mine just made it to Memphis on the same flight. I'm in San Jose. Wish it would have gone to SFO instead of Memphis. My ETA according to FedEx is 4/7. Would love to get it one day sooner, but I don't think it'll go from Memphis to San Jose in less than a day.

woah. haha. same eta for me. yeah, i was/am hoping to get it on today (6th) cause my friend leaves cali for the philippines on the same day. if she doesnt get it, ill have to wait till may. :|

I was into day 4 at prepared to ship, until that changed last night. My arrival date said the 11th at first, this AM it had changed to the 12th.

Has anyone been able to avoid the dreaded received after fed ex cut off time? I have it twice already and it is still in China. Does anyone make it on time, ever?

Looks like both of our iPads took the trip to Alaska together. I wonder why there has not been an update since Monday. Still hoping it will be delivered by tomorrow as scheduled.

Coming to America

Well as many others have stated, Yahoo is updated and FedEx was not. Looks like my iPad is finally headed to the US hopefully straight to Memphis. I am guessing at this by the time it departed and looking at FedEx flight status on FlightAware http://flightaware.com/live/findflight/VHHH/KMEM I have been watching FlightAware for the past few hours waiting for FDX 98 to depart and it never has shown a status of departed. So I looked out on the airport WEB site http://www.hongkongairport.com/flightinfo/eng/cargo_dep.html and it shows it did depart at 21:56 HKT, 10 minutes late. I was mainly concerned it would end up getting in to Memphis too late to get up to St. Louis by morning to meet my April 7th delivery. So if everything stays on track I should have my iPad by tomorrow night!

My above information still is the same, no changes and no charge to cc.

I do have one question for everyone who has gotten theirs already. This being my first apple purchase thru the mail or otherwise -- does it come with a full charge, or will I have to charge it through the night the first night to maximize the battery life? Just curious.

This same thing happened on the first iPad. Sitting on the island. My Aunt got hers last week and it was the same thing. She got hers a day early while it said it was in Alaska. These tracking #s don't mean alot. Not when it comes to Apple anyway. The tracking info is as useful as USPS tracking info. They like to deliver a day ahead of time so you'll be happier. ??
 
Just found out my ipad is on flight fx0024 headed to Memphis. It left around 1:45pm EST and it's a 12hr flight from Japan to Memphis...so as long as it doesn't get held up coming through customs in Memphis I think it will still make it here tomorrow as planned :)

So far I've seen 2 Apple orders with Mar 16 ship dates get PTS status. wondering now if that was a fluke.

Ordered March 16th 4:32PDT.. still NYS (64gb AT&T black)

Fingers crossed for tomorrow I guess since it doesn't look like it'll happen today...

any more March 16th getting Prepared to Ship recently?

La verdad yo ya no se que pensar, FedEx dice una cosa, Yahoo otra, que los vuelos, que la hora, que si a Anchorage, que si a Memphis, ya me estoy volviendo loco como decían mas arriba. :(

My tracking info states that my ipad left Japan at 02:44 and there is a corresponding fedex flight that left at that exact time. Just an educated guess at this point but Im fairly confident my package is on that flight. :)

Lo que no entiendo es porque en la pagina de FedEx mi iPad se ha quedado en Lantau Island y en la de Yahoo en Taiwan, de ahí no ha habido movimiento, deberían actualizar el tracking mas frecuentemente.
