Original ship date 4/21 - Deliver Date 4/26

Just Prepared for Shipment!

At least I now know the process has begun and I will see it early next week. Btw, when I ordered the only shipping option was normal...called customer service a week ago and was able to upgrade to 2-day...Saaweet.

Delivered this afternoon April 8th, 2 weeks early

Didn't get to play, came home to a backed up sewer pipe :eek:and spent the late afternoon moving stuff and getting a plumber, on overtime. Need a glass of wine, or two, three wouldn't be too bad. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm so impatient it hurts. I haven't seen much movement in the March 18th orders. I'm still holding onto a 21st ship and 26 delivery date.

16gb wifi white, anyone else in the same boat?

Now I can go from obsessively refreshing my Apple Order Status page to obsessively refreshing the FedEx tracking info page. lol

I am :( Only that I ordered mine on March 25th (Canadian release date) I keep checking the order page obsessively and feel disappointed when it hasn't budged.

As I mentioned in the April 20-22 Shipdate thread, I ordered the exact same config as you on March 17 11:51AM PDT, and it still in Not Yet Shipped status. Other configs ordered after that have already changed to Prepared for Shipment.

So, it's the 16GB WiFi, and esp. white that seems to be most constrained.

Yahoo small business tracking is updating quicker than the FedEx tracking website. The FedEx website shows my iPad is still in transit from Shenzhen while yahoo shows that it left Chicago, IL!:cool:
 
Ordered mine (32Gb 3G black) on March 27th, ship date is 25th April. From what I've picked up by skimming this thread, could I reasonably expect it to ship sooner than that?

Perhaps. I ordered mine on March 17, which had a delivery date of April 26 up until yesterday. It has been shipped 12 days sooner than scheduled and is expected to arrive April 14 from Shenzhen, China.

when did you order? If you ordered when it was 4-5 weeks you'll hve it no less than a week early, prob more. If you ordered when it was 3-4 weeks, you could get it on time or about a week early. all speculation based on the other 347 pages of this thread lol

You know what really cracks me up???

There ain't nuttin nobody can do about speeding up the process....
We'll get em when we get em...
 
based on the hong kong international airport schedule here - http://www.hongkongairport.com/flightinfo/eng/cargo_dep.html

There are NO FedEx Cargo Departures for April 10 (which it is now 12:35am Apr 10 HK Time)

the first FedEx flight leaving HK on the 11th of April is at 6pm HK time (5amPDT, 4amMDT 3amCST 2amEDT) and that is FX0039 which is stopping in Memphis, Newark and then on to Paris.

the 2nd FedEx flight on the 11th of April is at 6:55pm HK time (5:55amPDT, 4:55amMDT, 3:55amCST, 2:55amEDT) and that is FX158 to Anchorage, AK.

third and Final flight to the USA leaves at 9:45pm HK time (4:45amPDT, 5:45amMDT, 6:45amCDT, 5:45amEDT) and that is FX098 to Memphis.

There's a 10:20pm KD Time flight from HK to Taiwan but I doubt hardly any of ours will be on that.
