My 3G AT&T 16 GB Black was ordered 3 hours after yours, and is still in "Not Yet Shipped". 🙁
 
I told you - be cool

So- when I went to bed last night, it was sitting on the island in HK. I woke to the FedEx guy standing at my door handing me my iPad 2. Today it was schedualled to be delivered. Right on time. So - for the 3rd time - quit freaking out. The FedEx tracking is bogus. The same thing happen to me and many others. Be cool. Why is is bogus? I don't care. Chill out.
Stop screaming in the back seat "are we there yet?"
 
My ipad 2 is coming in a day late...it was scheduled for today but will arrive tomorrow before 4:30pm. Can't wait for it to get here! 🙂

I called Apple's phone number in the email, they said it's in Lantau Island... since 4/3. THey told me to call FedEx, so I did and they said it's still in China. When I asked when it will be delivered, she said she didn't know. It seems like they have a mess over there.

I'm in almost the same situation, except mine started the journey on 4/3. I ordered about the same time as you, and it spent 3 days in HK. FedEx site/Yahoo tracking/FedEx automated phone all had delivery date for today. When it didn't arrive, I got an actual rep on the phone this afternoon, he told me it had just cleared customs in AK - and I might have it tomorrow. I no longer have a delivery date listed on Apple or FedEx, so I'm not feeling optimistic.

I'm in the UK and didn't order until 8:30am local time on launch day of March 25th. Loads of people ordered at 1am when online sales started.

Got my shipped notice for the 32GB/Wifi/Black that I ordered Mar 17, which beats the initial estimate by two weeks (initial shipping estimate was April 21).

Nope. I'm sure.

Because several that ordered after me already had it shipped sooner anyway. At THE POINT that I complained, they moved it. It was worth the call.
 
Just tracked mine, shipped on 4/6, expected delivery slipped to 4/12 (Ordered: 3/15, Apple original estimates: Ships 4/19, Delivers 4/22).

Rather good progress for a Tuesday delivery. Much more of a direct route than the Lantau Island most people are reporting too.

My ship date is April 21st as well...However I didn't order it until March 24th. I'm assuming people that ordered between that you ordered and I did got the same ship date. Hopefully I'll get my ship notice soon!

If I follow things correctly on this thread I'm hoping for earlier shipping. Just thought I'd throw in my info so others have another data point here.

Seems like local retail locations are getting them so regularly it's frustrating! I don't think Apple did anything wrong (heck it sure looks like they will over deliver on their commitment to me)...I just feel like that I chose the WAY slower moving line at the theme park - and I'm the impatient kid here!!! I purchased my iPad2 with an Apple gift card so not too many options for where I can make it happen. Local Apple Store is getting them everyday - but at this point I'm not going to cancel my online order to jump into that race!!! So I wait and pray to the Apple gods. 😉

So they're up to March 18th on some models. Curses. That's what I get for going for 16GB 🙁

(16 GB Black AT&T, ordered March 17th at 12:57 PDT or so. Still Not Yet Shipped.)
 
I finally got my shipment notification that my white 16gb ipad2 with special engraving (ordered March 16) is on its way 😀. The delivery date says April 13 but given the time difference from where its shipping from (China) to Los Angeles, it should definitely be here Tuesday. I experienced the same thing when I ordered my 2011 MBP in February. I got it two days ahead of the FedEx/Apple delivery date.
