Yeah this process really stinks. I see some orders are ordered after my time yet already shipped or in process of being shipped....yet mine still shows not yet shipped. Mine is a White 64GB Att if that's whats causing the delay.

THIS IS INSANE!!!! After almost 2 days my iPad 2 is STILL "Prepared to Ship"!! This is making me very angry!
Is it possibly they are just not scanning all the iPads, and mine has shipped?
I am beginning to think that there is a delay in the status updates for shipping and I think they have actually shipped.
I can't imagine people who ordered hours after are getting their stuff tomorrow and others have yet to even ship for the same model & carrier.
Ours must be on the same path. My package's status is simply "Package Status, Lantau Island". That's helpful
Called Apple again and hat a very nice representative on the phone. Called because I never received a conformation email.
2 good things: My order is alright and he told me, that I am in the first wave of shipments. TBH I do not know, if he really has more information about the shipment process, but I feel a bit better now

I had hoped for the same thing, but I'm almost certain that Apple has to charge credit/debit card before it is shipped.
The one I ordered is still "not yet shipped".
very likely i would say... my original estimate from apple was 18th - 25th.. but its now with fedex for 17th..i assume your original estimate was probably 21st to 26th or something..

Yea that is a possibility. It happened for the 1st gen iPads
My black 32 GB AT&T 3G still has not even changed to "Prepared for shipment." I'm becoming very impatient...

I ordered my 64gb ATT&T black at 12:44am PST and it's still showing not yet shipped-aarrgghh! Apple customer service is of course clueless as to why orders are shipping in what seems to be a random pattern. The poor rep just kept reading me the same order update info I've read myself 1000 times. The cover is supposed to arrive on Thursday. Oh well, just have to keep reminding myself they're still within the promised 3-5 days shipping time.

If your credit card hasn't been charged, your order hasn't shipped. They'll charge you at the same time your order goes into "Prepared for Shipment" status.

Same thing happened to me, the apple rep would fall back on "well they still 2 3 more business days to ship". I then asked why were other orders at the very least prepared to ship over the weekend as well as shipped over the weekend.....their response "well I don't know". Typical.

i ordered exacty 7 minutes after you, same model but black.....nada in the shipping department.
My credit card has been charged but I am still in the "Not Yet Shipped" status. I ordered 3/11 2:00 am PST. Do you think this means it was actually shipped ?
