I also have 32GB At&T black and have gotten no love!
I have to wonder if the 3G models are limited b/c they couldn't do mass production until FCC approval (I think I read something about FCC approval of the device the day prior to launch- maybe cell phones were built after approval and wifi only were essentially built already).
Not necessarily true. I think it depends on the credit card company. Mine just says pending right now and my iPad is in Alaska right now so I am pretty sure they have charged it.
The person who said "The early bird gets the worm" was a liar....clearly not applicable in this case.
I am actually shocked mine hasn't shipped yet...this is getting annoying to the point I may cancel my order....
That is interesting. I chose the Bill-Me-Later option. I plan on paying it off very soon, but they gave me 6months-no interest! Im not sure if that made the difference or not?
I hear you. I just happened to wake up at little earlier than 4 on launch day and placed my order at 3:44 EST. Way before half the orders that have already shipped. WTF!!!
I'm beyond frustrated with waiting for my shipment to change from 'not yet shipped' to 'prepared for shipment.' It's starting to get ridiculous.
I ordered a 16GB white and thought to hold off on the engraving allowing it to reach me faster, doesn't look like that made a big difference. I ordered at 6:30 eastern time also.
On the bright side my blue smart cover is on it's way.. guess I'll have fun with the magnets for a few days..

To be fair, Apple got a ton of orders between 4 AM and 6:30 AM, it seems (judging by increased shipping times shortly thereafter). It's very possible yours is still in production, or at the very least, is soon in the queue to be shipped out.

My iPad just arrived at SENNAN-SHI as well. What the hell is that? Why is it not going to ANC or MEM? It's so silly to make all these stops. Still showing up as an on time delivery of 3/17 before 4:30pm.
Ordered mine 3:08am CT for the 64GB wifi black engraved and just last night it changed the status to "Prepared for Shipment." I want it so bad! I check it 30 times a day.

At least your not in the "yet to ship" crowd who ordered at butt crack of dawn and probably won't get the ipad until next week. I have little sympathy for you.

I feel like I'm the only person who didn't order until 3/12.. lol!
I totally under estimated how quickly they'd sell out on Friday so figured i'd just be able to walk into the Apple Store and pick one up.. silly me!
I ordered later in the day on 3-11 once I saw the Apple stores starting to sell out of the model I wanted (couldn't get out till later in the evening), pretty much same boat as you, I'd guess.
I'm ok with it coming the first week of April (April 6th is delivery date), but I'm hoping it moves up.

This isn't scientific, but it seems that there aren't any 32gb AT&T models that have shipped yet. Mine hasn't even changes to "prepared for shipment". Hoping for some news soon.
