My 64gb white 3g, ordered at 8am fri with macmall, has a ups ground shipped status of 3/11. Since then Ups has not confirmed the tracker online. Checked an hour ago and still no details are posted for the tracking number emailed to me by macmall early sat morning. The reply from ups is "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later." I don't think ups would hold something this long without at least acknowledging that they received the package at their facility. This is why i'm starting to worry. Macmall told me to give it one more day, but quite honestly i'm not optimistic. Is anyone's tracking number with macamall actually tracking delivery?

Mine

2011-03-14 20:15:00 Left FedEx Ramp LANTAU ISLAND,

But I haven't seen an update that it has made it to Alaska yet :(

Based on people's updates who made the first flight out (this is the second), it should be hitting any time now. It's during the day (instead of overnight), so it may just be taking a little longer.

Based upon prior knowledge, this package has not been picked up yet, and when it is, then it will show. It is still early for UPS to pick up on a monday

Misery and company

i love reading all the comments especially the ones about the frustration in waiting and simply waiting because I'm on the same shoes.

And even if it shipped, it's almost as bad as not having it prepped for shipping because it's sooooo close....

I should have gotten the 64GB Verizon version for myself...regret not getting it when it was still available in the store.

Probably just didn't get scanned. Should have been on the same plane as the rest of us given left ramp time.

If it left with the first plane of iPad's, then it would've scanned already and showed up. Everyone has the same scan time because its still in bulk. There are 2 more planes leaving Hong Kong today, so there is time left.

Mine was on the same flight. They are all getting to be friends.

If the plane landed in the US, they HAVE to submit it to customs.

Yep. I'd assume that's what the Int'l Shipment Release status some of us have gotten means--that they've cleared customs are are released to be shipped to the next hub.

Has anyone who's iPad is "Prepared for Shipment" changed to "Shipped" recently (Last 1-2 hours, or sooner)?

Still been waiting pretty much 2 days now, for it to change to shipped from prepared to ship!

Anyway PLEASE let me know!

I'm not so sure about that. If they stay on the plane they can do customs elsewhere ( I think I remember this happening ).

But really I haven't a clue. Just that perhaps it would be more efficient if they avoided TN.

As long as it stays on the plane they dont have to submit it. I have had previous items from apple that have cleared customs in Memphis.

Mine has been stuck like this all day.

Mar 14, 2011 1:46 AM In transit LANTAU ISLAND HK
Mar 14, 2011 1:15 AM At local FedEx facility LANTAU ISLAND HK

(Times are Local Scan time)

Plus my case hasnt been updated since 12:34 Satruday morning. Says...

This our iPads next flight if yours is already in AK that is.

So gets to Memphis at 12:30 am.

Should leave there tomorrow morning and maybe get to my local hub for Atlanta on Tuesday evening sometime--so maybe it can go out for delivery a day early on Wednesday.

Not going to get my hopes up though. Based on past tracking it probably won't go straight from Memphis to my local center and will get another 1 day stop over along the way since it's not 2 day shipping.

Every one of Apple's devices that has shipped to me from China has come in through Alaska. It's on the most direct route over the top. Or close enough. Must be huge air cargo facility.
