Is anyone still stuck in Anchorage? My iPad arrived in Anchorage earlier today along with a bunch of people's iPads, but mine remains under the status "International Shipment Release." In other words, "Congrats, you cleared customs, but your iPad may or may not have departed Anchorage." I can't imagine it isn't on one of the two planes that went to Memphis this afternoon/evening. Maybe it's just a delayed status update? Anyone in the same boat (or plane) as me?

I feel awful for the folks who have been in the "prepared to ship" status for longer than two days. I'm at 12+ hours in "prepared to ship" and I'm about to lose my mind. I'm hoping they f*d up the scanning and we'll all be surprised tomorrow. One of my smart covers came today and I ordered it midday Friday (ordered iPad at 1:04am on March 11). This is torture.

I did... I also had it engraved. It's in the prepared to ship.

I ordered 64GB Black wifi only at 1:03 am PST and these must be a unicorn too cause I havent seen or heard of these shipping - mine still says not shipped yet .....Very Frustrating

11 minutes left til the next FedEx plane lands in Memphis. I'm hoping for an update! Mine's been in Hong Kong since yesterday.

mines been at "prepared to ship" for about 4 hours and I doubt they messed up the scanning because they charged me only 4 hours ago. I know mines better be on somebody plane in the morning.

Wanted to send this along to ease everyones minds. This is how far the LANTAU ISLAND HK is from the Hong Kong International Airport..... If it shipped today and you are stuck here (like me) its should be on Flight FDX98 or FDX48

Barring a miracle it looks like my hope that Apple's shipping/delivery estimates were conservative and I'd get mine earlier are being dashed. I ordered a 16GB black Verizon with engraving at 650 am eastern and still nothing at all. My cover will be here on Thurs, woo hoo . I am hoping they are just slow to post ready to ship updates but I bet I am just dreaming about that....

Does Apple get any priority once they hit the US or do these just go into the system like any other package? This is the only way I think many of us might have one for this weekend. Anyone know how Apple and Fed Ex work together on large launches like this? Thanks.

What was the shipping time quoted on that order? Was that model still in the 3-7 day time frame at that time?

When the order was created on 3/12, 939 pm pdt, the ship and deliver dates are apr 11 ship date, apr 18, delivery date for the white 64GB/at&t 3G model with engraving.

Maybe this is an error? Seems kind of odd to get a, "prepared for shipment," notification about two days after ordering. Many on this forum have ordered much earlier than me and are still waiting for shipment status.
