I ordered at 3:48AM EST and mine shipped on Sunday. Right now it's in Memphis, although the tracking hasn't updated since 2AM Memphis time. I ordered a White 64GB Wi-fi only model.

yay ours was on the same flight.. i have the same model as you too!

where do you live? and what is your estimated delivery?
 
I have the 32GB 3G at&t black ordered at 12:44 am pst on the 11th. Status is "not yet shipped" . I went to an apple store this morning and waited in line, I was about 150th person in line. They sold out about 15 people in front of me. They had a lot of wifi and a lot of verizon models but the 3G at&t were in short supply, this is what the apple store employees where tellling everyone. So the 3G at&t models are definitely in short supply all around.

Odd, so it went direct from HK to Memphis? I didn't think they did that.

I've been stuck on Lantau for way too long,,, not moving,,,
These are destination times, and it's now march 15th, 5:05am in Hawaii,,,
30 hours stuck at Lantau,,,
My UPS accessories shipped after, and are at least moving,,
Doesn't make sense, unless planes are not moving because of the japan situation,,,, anybody know????

Apparenty my Smart Cover did get on a truck this morning as it was delivered a hour ago.

I think I may end up leaving work early as soon as the FedEx page tracking the iPad says it's delivered... Hopefully it's by two or so
 
Getting real close for Seattle

Well, my iPad is at the local sorting facility for my area. :)

Now the real question is how long will it take for them to stare at it before it goes onto a local delivery truck! In the past I have made inquiries into picking items up at the local facility and have been told that a 1st attempt to deliver must be made before I can pick up at the depot. :mad:

Check that, it is now on the truck for delivery. Yipee...

You're not stuck. The "in transit" from Fedex.com and the "left ramp" from Yahoo shows it's laft Lantau Island and should be on a plane to Alaska or Memphis direct. For example, here's the full past status of mine from the Yahoo tracking.

So, FedEx tracking says left ramp at 8:57pm (this is 8:57am EST, btw).
Flight tracking says plane took off at 8:53pm, and will be in Anchorage approximately 8 hours later.
I'm pretty sure that if the package is in Alaska today, it can be here in Brooklyn on Thursday, as scheduled

(I am aware how silly this is, but it's pretty fascinating to be able to get such a detail of the shipping works on your fingertips like this)
 
64GB Black AT&T

Does anyone know if any Black 64GB AT&T have even been prepped for shipping. My order time is 1:08am PDT on March 11th.

I just keep refreshing the order status.....


But at least I will get my cover by Friday!

I have a business degree, and I don't know what you're trying to say. If you're suggesting that there is a cost to sitting at home and waiting, there are also several costs associated with going to the store to get it.

But none of those are relevant to the conversation, since clearly the OP was talking about the PRICE of the shipping to the end customer. Which is $0.00. The customer pays the same price for the device either in Apple's store or online.
