Both unplug the cable and hold the home bottom didn't work for me.

But after I put sim card in it, all the problem just gone away. Hope it wold help.

i had the waiting to reboot problem and tried pulling out and reinserting the usb cable.

2g iphone. JBing on a emachines netbook win 7.

after I unplugged and reinserted the usb cable itunes kiicked in. it asked if ii wanted to restore said yes and closed it down instantly.

redsn0w then moved on from the wait to boot stage and jb'ed my phone.

success!

If I ever had this issue, it was because I was not holding the home button long enough. After the detection of the DFU mode, I usually hold the home button until I see the pineapple...

Thanks you!

Yes. The "Waiting for reboot" screen was killing me too. I have a 2g iPhone. Running redsn0w 0.8 on my Power PC iBook. I got stuck at "waiting for reboot", but it did say, at first, that it was jailbreaking. But then it would get suck at "waiting for reboot". What I FINALLY found out was all I need to do was just unplug the cable from the phone and then plug it back in. Right after that, the phone screen turned white and everything continued as it should!

Hope this helps!

Cám ơn bạn! (Thanks you!) :D
