I feel that people in the know will now avoid the A series iPads. Even my wife wants to use her latest mini with a monitor. She was surprised to learn she couldn’t.
USB-C would be nice, but it's not a "10+ year old design". It's much thinner and lighter than the original retina iPad in 2012.But still that 10+ Year Old Design? Please finally revamp the tired old design this year, I wish it will hopefully be in the shell of a iPad Air 4. That Outdated Design must go NOW over USB-C.
Apple: "Yes." 😁How many iPad's Apple is planning on releasing within the next 12 months [?]
We still have wireless lighting (outside in the wild). The lightning port is dead.
To be fair, I don't think that there's a lot of base iPad customers who care about/need a feature like Stage Manager. People who value multitasking on iPad will probably get an higher end device like the Air or the Pro anywaySo no M1 or M2... which means no Stage Manager according to Apple.
This is the iPad 80% of iPad user need, but many of them buy the Pro thinking they are getting a better product.
If you want a revamped design there are plenty of other iPads to choose from. This is the low cost option and I’m all for the stalest design they have if it keeps the cost low.But still that 10+ Year Old Design? Please finally revamp the tired old design this year, I wish it will hopefully be in the shell of a iPad Air 4. That Outdated Design must go NOW over USB-C.
But the ones who will, will complain. To be fair, I don't think that there's a lot of base iPad customers who care about/need a feature like Stage Manager. People who value multitasking on iPad will probably get an higher end device like the Air or the Pro anyway
I don't know why they would. There are a lot of features that are exclusive to high end iPads, like promotion, FaceID, LiDAR, Thunderbolt port. Stage Manager will just be one more exclusive feature that base iPads will not get (and iPad mini, but I'm not sure Stage Manager would be great on a screen this small anyway)But the ones who will, will complain.
Might be exactly the same iPad that is rumored to be 14". 10.2" to 10.5" doesn't sound like terribly useful size increase. Perhaps they want to target not only artists but education usage. How many iPad's Apple is planning on releasing within the next 12 months.
I had the 12.9" iPad and Pencil, and while charging the Pencil looked silly, the battery lasted a while. It's like the Magic Mouse port on the bottom; a minor annoyance, but the battery charges quickly and lasts a while. Plus, the Apple Pencil came with a female-female lightning adapter so you could charge it on a cable as well.Retire the Apple Pencil 1 already. What an embarrassment of a design decision
Not at all a surprise. So no M1 or M2... which means no Stage Manager according to Apple.
Not sure, but one thing for sure:How many iPad's Apple is planning on releasing within the next 12 months.
IF this has a non-laminated display, that’s a big problem for me:I'm wondering if it's going to look a lot like the iPad Air just a smaller screen & non laminated display for education?
