Irregardless, you could of spent you're time better by getting some monies at the ATM machine.
But I dont need to get more than one currency at a time out of the cash machine, even if it is linked to the bank using an Asynchronous Transfer Mode (mode). and isnt an AT Machine an old IBM machine?

anyway, its probably time to stop worrying and pronounce the apostrophe dead (or just accept that the price really does belong to the potato) - the basic possessives and contractions almost make sense but then you get to "its" vs "it's" and youre really just feeding the trolls. in the age of multimedia communications anything that doesnt show up in spoken english should probably go away. full stops and capital letters? choose one (just dont put two spaces after the full stop). let the language evolve, and concentrate on the war against emojis. ive already wasted too many hours of my life worrying about oxford commas and the differences between hyphens, m-dashes, n-dashes (with spaces) and minus signs. now, how do I change this font to Comic Sans?

All I got to say is iPhones have been taking HDR photos for years now and I'd like to be able to see them correctly on my desktop!

Which shouldn’t be a surprise. The machine it’s replacing costs $1799, not $4999 like the iMac Pro. I wonder when people will ever stop making up things and then getting upset when Apple doesn’t deliver what they made up.

I think we're all guessing, not "making up things". It very well may not be called iMac Pro, but I don't think there's a rule that says they have to "replace" the current 27" iMac at the same price point - it could be that they are eliminating that in favor of what they call iMac Pro at a higher price point than the Intel 27" iMacs but less than the previous iMac Pros.

Why does MR report things from DigiTimes? Their track record is literally crap. Like, worse than Jon Prosser. And, FWIW, Ross has never been wrong yet. New displays with ProMotion and mini-LEDs follow the pattern Apple has clearly been charting with its pro devices.

THANK YOU❤️

and even Ross said that it will be miniLED

It is not going to be mini-LED. The $5000 Pro XDR display is 32-inch, so do you honestly expect $2000 iMac’s having the same display as their $5000 Pro XDR monitor (as it is nearly the same siye).

0% chance of this happening.

The only thing that I can see happening is a super expensive BTO option to add a min-LED, but it will not be standard.

Do you honestly think an iMac Pro will get a better display than the $5000 Pro XDR display that doesn’t come with a computer.

No chance.
Yes. The new MacBook Pros have even better screen specs than the Pro XDR.

No it is not. It has much higher latency and is only 16”. It is why some people report ghosting.

$2000 for a 27 inch iMac with a Pro XDR display (almost same size) is not going to happen.

Totally agree. I believe they look to the future. It would be somewhat strange if they made a brand new iMac with latest generation chips and an "old" display…

It’s like reality here. How were they to keep the cost down at that size of a panel.
Simply if you want the cheap one you can buy the 24 inch! If you want the “pro” or “iMac Pro” version you buy the mini led one that will cost for sure from 3K ?. a lot of people here want an iMac with the same screen of the MacBook Pro (me too!) and if apple they will not do it it’s so strange and disappointing…

I think there will be a starting price of $2999 for a mini led like the MacBook Pro screen and the M1 pro chip, 512gb (or 256gb) and 8gb ram… then you can add whatever you want: ram, storag, M1 max ecc

At the moment I am confused what to do. I have an iMac Pro but I want a bigger ultra wide screen with 120hz+ without giving up the retina sharpness.
No external display is currently available on the market that comes close to my requirements.
All I can do is wait and then the new iMac will have 27inch again and I won't get my upgrade again.
