RESERVE online PICKUP IN Apple STORE currently live and working

Apple stores do not get Sunday iPhone deliveries, and they do not know in advance what will be coming in on any given day.

So how will Apple Stores have any stock tomorrow (Monday) morning for us to "reserve" at 10 AM or 3AM or whatever tonight? They sell out every day the stock they had Sunday (today)?
 
I ordered my 16gb space gray AT&T online last Monday and picked it up just before noon. I even checked later that afternoon and most stores around me were still showing available stock. YMMV.

At what time (and time zone) did the Apple Store begin accepting orders for in store pickups last Monday?

I should reword this. I already ordered 2 phones through the online apple store. In order to reserve for pickup, do I need to cancel these orders? And can I do it quickly as soon as the option is available?

Say the option is enabled at 10, can I cancel the phones and reserve for instore pickup quickly?

stores will hold some shipments for Monday
 
My upgrade isn't available until October 1st. Any way can I buy it for in-store pick-up for full-price (assuming the option goes live Monday), but then "return" and re-buy it with the upgraded pricing on the 1st? Would they let me do that?

Well I'm looking for a gold model, which seems to be pretty rare around where I live. I'm assuming that that whatever is available for in-store pick-up will sell out right away, so I don't mind ordering it now then just picking it up on Tuesday and doing the return/re-buy then. I also have a buyer lined up for my 4S that I trust, so I'd hope to get it to him as soon as possible.

Thats exactly what I did with my brothers phone. Ordered on launch day full price since he didnt qualify for subsidy yet. Came in on the 27th when he did qualify and they did a return/rebuy. Just don't open it and it should be Easy.

Does anyone have any idea about how many sales per day will Apple stores allocate to online reservations? I just need to make sure I don't sleep in.:eek:

I don't know if they allocate any iPhones for online sales. I think that this just gives people the opportunity to snag one online and have it held for pickup at the store. If the store is sold out, there are none available for online or walk-in customers.

Unfortunately, I'm getting an iPhone at full price paid by check and AFAIK there's no way to reserve one online.
 
If they are going to go live today I am putting my money on 12AM PST, 6:30AM EST, or 6:30AM (local time).
 
Question:

Does this inline reservation only for oine computer internet or can it be done in the apple store app on your iphone? Thanks in advance
