Ordered my 64gb Space Grey for instore pickup and just got email confirmation it is ready for pickup.. Now for my work day to end so I can get it.

But what has me thinking is do they automatically put any new shipments on the floor when they receive it? Maybe an apple employee can help us with this.

I may be misremembering, but in previous iterations didn't they hold the stock received during the day for inventory and entering into the reservation system for next-day sales? It'd then show up at 10pm local time and everyone would scramble to get theirs reserved?

Today is the last day with my 4S and I have yet to find a 32GB 5s available in San Diego. I wonder how long I'll be without a phone. Anyone know the shipment days for Apple or AT&T?

Im a premier customer so I can't order or buy from apple.

I just don't understand WHY they won't let you reserve an carrier locked iphone.

My store just got ATT models in stock yet I can't reserve one because im premier and the tmobile unlocked ones arent in stock.

Are you sure about this? I'm an AT&T Premier customer and had no trouble buying a phone in-store on Friday.

Perhaps you're on a true Business account vs. an Individual Responsibility account? I think the former are limited, the latter (which I am) don't seem to be.

No configurations in any color in stock for AT&T in the TX/OK/AR area. Sporadic availability for 64 gb silver for Verizon and Sprint. Seems like space grey in any size for Sprint is still widely available. Just unbelievable.

Definitely am not complaining of having to wait for my 1-3 day shipping time.

Nothing except some 64GB Space Gray available anywhere near Dallas - that includes every Apple store from San Antonio and Houston to Little Rock.

There are a variety of Space Grays for Sprint and Verizon in Knox and Northpark last time I checked.

Very tempting. I don't know if I want to make the step up from 32 to 64gb. Might be a good reason to...

Does anyone kno how long they hold the phone in store once you reserved it? I may not be in th neighborhood of th stor for a week or two -- assuming they get any in stock?

It's not a reservation, you have to buy it online and then pick it up.

Yeah I think they did but the difference is that the previous system allowed you to hold one without purchasing.

my stores have some in stock now so it does update whenever they get em. Anyone know how to order an ATT phone without upgrading your line or creating an account?

Not getting one since i dont have an upgrade but I saw a few Stores in the LA area that had 16GB White, no gold, and some 64 GB Space grey for Verizon.

I just got a 32GB Gold in Towson, MD. They have most sizes in all 3 colors right now. Looks like the inventory just got updated. They must be adding them throughout the day.

Found a nearby store in NYC with the 5S available, made it to the last purchase page and it failed. Now all the nearby stores are back to "unavailable." So close...
