does the in-store pickup option only show when stock is available during the hours the stores are actually opened?
I walked into a store yesterday to mess around while the wife was shopping. As I'm standing there, a rep brings out a 5s for a lady next to me.
I found that interesting, because neither the app or the website have shown any inventory at thy store since the beginning of the week.
It seems some ATT stores in SFL got the grey today in 32GB in today's shipment. I am calling tomorrow to see if they get the 16 by chance. Anyone know if return period is the same for ATT stores (heard might be 14)? Or u need to buy in Apple store to get 30 days?

Why would you call the store?If it is available online from Apple or via the Apple app,order it for pick up.
This was for AT&T stores, not apple...there's no way to find out online if AT&T stores have stock other than calling them....
You can check in-store availability by going to AT&T online and clicking 'check in-store availability' for up to the date inventory.

Express checkout settings are in the 'More' tab under Account. Flip the express checkout switch from off to on and the ship/pick up/ask me every time options should appear.
The instructions mentioned earlier apply to the iOS Apple Store app. Sorry for the mix up.Is this only in the iOS Apple Store app? On the Apple store webpage, I do not see a "more" tab that gives me these options.
I feel your pain!! Have been experiencing the same issue in purchasing a 64GB Gold AT&T in NJ...online apple store even let me purchase phone last Friday only for store to call me and inform me that glitch in the system misrepresented their availability![]()

Call ahead to be sure that is possible...my understanding is that their stock for in store purchase is separate from online purchase for in store pickup...once online purchase is made, store cannot make adjustments to it, only 1-800-MY-APPLE...at least that has been my experience
